classes scheduled for May & June in NYC and NJ

My classes have been scheduled for May and June! You can see the schedule here.  I have added a new store to the list of places I teach and will be teaching at Paper Anthology in Kenvil, NJ. If you are in the area, I would love to see you in class!

For those of you in the NYC/NJ area, just a reminder that I have some classes coming up this month. First in NYC, a Saturday technique workshop that is based on the Inspiration Showcase class I took with Jennifer McGuire. It certainly helped me remember to use more techniques and get the most out of all of the products I have. Second a card making class in Hoboken. Saturday, March 24th **CLASS HELD AT WESTBETH COMMUNITY CENTER**
Be Inspired Technique Canvas 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm
Create your own “inspiration board” full of techniques and handmade embellishments that you are sure to turn to again and again for inspiration on cards and other crafty projects. This class is based on techniques that Cheiron learned hands-on in Jennifer McGuire’s Inspiration Showcase class. Now she will share them with you in a workshop setting. You will go home with your own 11 x 14 canvas that can be displayed in your crafty space. Required supplies: students must bring a non-stick craft sheet, scissor, adhesive, glossy accents, heat tool, foam tape or dots.

Friday, March 30th
Springtime Cards 7-9 pm
Join Cheiron to make a collection of greeting cards inspired by the colors of spring. You will create cards with fresh colors and fun embellishments while learning some of Cheiron's favorite techniques. You will go home with six cards for a variety of occasions. You must bring required class supplies. All other materials to make the cards will be provided in your class kit. Required class supplies: Detail scissors, adhesive runner, foam tape (or dots) and anything else you can't create without!

Wednesday, Sept 21st 7:15-9:15pm
Join Cheiron for cardmaking fun with the new Studio Calico/Hero Arts stamps. Wonderful images, textures and sayings will be combined to make cheerful cards that are sure to delight your friends!

Frightful and Delightful Halloween Cards
Wednesday, Oct 12th 7:15-9:15 pm
Join Cheiron to make a few frightful and delightful Halloween cards and treats (candy included) with her favorite Hero Arts stamps. We will make 3 cards and 2 treat holders in this class that are perfect for Halloween, but can be replicated for any occasion!

Colorful Cards with Copics class-Wed 5/18 (NYC)

 
I will be teaching a Colorful Cards with Copics class at The Ink Pad on Wed, May 18th at 7:15pm. Join me to go over the basic coloring techniques for these markers, and maybe learn some new ones (even if you are already an experienced colorer). We will be making some bright and cheerful cards. Wednesday, April 27  Hello Luscious! 7:15-9:15pm
Bring on spring! Join Cheiron to make some beautiful cards featuring fabulous florals with the Hello Luscious 6 X 6 paper pad from Basic Grey and the coordinating stamps from Hero Arts-made specifically to coordinate with the designs in the paper pad. These bright and cheery colors are sure to please anyone who receives them! **The paper remaining in your pad will be yours to take home to make even more cards on your own**

Getting a headstart on my 2011 planning. Classes are scheduled for Jan, Feb, and March! I will be teaching at the NEW 7th Avenue location of The Ink Pad, and returning to One Little Spark in Tuckerton.

Terrific Tapes class Wed 11/17 at the Ink Pad
