Thought you might like to see the latest items that have ended up in my cart over the past week.

Can't wait to have some time to play with all this fun stuff-sure hope it gets here soon. Lots of Christmas 6 x 6 pads, some fun decorative stickers, tinsel, and the Limited Edition Fall 2011 Distress Ink Pads. 

If you must pick (gasp!) one 6 x 6 pad definitely check out the Christmas Dots and Stripes pad from Echo Park. I am thinking I will use it all year long, it will be great for "boy" cards!

Happy Stamp-a-Versary to The Ink Pad!

Happy 13th Stamp-a-Versary to the Ink Pad!

To help them celebrate, bring in a card of your own creation that best depicts what YOU love about The Ink Pad. Your card can be of any style or theme...it's up to you! Beginning Monday September 12th through Friday September 30th drop off your card to the store and receive a FREE Ranger Adirondak Inkpad!

The staff of The Ink Pad will select the most creative and original card and the winner will receive a $50 gift certificate (how fun is that?) All entries are due by Sept 30th. No purchase necessary to enter, one entry per person. If you are taking my class on the 21st, don't forget to bring your card with you.

I am not eligible for the contest, but I thought I would share a little card I made for Anna, Barbara and all the gals at The Ink Pad to celebrate.  If you don't live near NYC, make sure to pay them a visit when you are visiting! You will not be disappointed.

treasure hunt tuesday

I went on a little treasure hunt this morning at Parcel in Montclair to get some "sea treasures" for a project you can see at the end of this month. I will be participating in something very fun over on Jenn's blog. There are new projects each day this month that are super inspiring for the summer! 

I was looking for some things nautical and summery...but I will share those with you later on this month. I thought you might like to take a peek at some of the other fun things I did find at Parcel. You may know this shop for the line of embellishments that they designed with EK Success. Here are some of the pieces below.

Since I am no longer teaching A Muse classes, I need more room for new class stamps. I have cleaned out my stamp cabinets and many of my A Muse stamps are on sale HERE. Please email me (ctric@hotmail.com) with a list of the image #'s & item names (eg. #101-chair line) and prices of the stamps you would like to purchase including your total. Some of the stamps are being sold as "sets" and will not be separated (thanks for understanding). All of these stamps have been used in classes (and may be ink stained) unless otherwise indicated.

FInally had some time to play with this Tim Holtz DIe and thought it would be fun to make a Valentine in a less tradtional color. This die makes making rosettes SO easy. I thought of it as an early Valentine present to myself.

There are some other goodies still on my wish list for this Valentines Day.

Captain Yellow Belt and Some Crafty Girls...

My four year old Godson, Andrew, just got his yellow belt in karate!!! He totally loves karate and when his mom called to tell me the good news I figured I should send him a card to celebrate. He is a lover of superheroes and loves to run around the house in some of the different superhero costumes he has. I used the little Superhero stamp from A Muse...he is now CAPTAIN YELLOW BELT.

 

For some reason I think he will like it...
