Hugs & Kisses Cards

Want some Hugs and Kisses you can send through the mail? Join Cheiron to create your own handmade Valentine cards and decorated envelopes. We will be using some of the fabulous new Hero Arts stamps from the 2012 catalog release to create Valentine's cards that are perfect for friends, family or that special someone in your life. As always, you will come away learning the newest stamping techniques and designs that you will be able to use on any type of card! Please bring scissors, an adhesive runner, foam dots, and anything else you can't create without.

12 Tags of Christmas
Join Cheiron as we create 12 Christmas themed tags, each with a different stamping technique. Students will create 12 beautiful Christmas tags while learning stamping techniques with Distress Inks, stains, and background inking/stamping techniques. These tags look beautiful on presents and gift bags.  Or simply stamp a sentiment and add them to a card for a fun look! Intro to Stamping

Not only will you get an introduction to stamping in this class, you will actually make some cards! Have you always wanted to make your own handmade cards, but didn’t know what you needed to get started? Are you new to stamping, and just don’t know what all those products are for? Join Cheiron to explore the world of stamping. In this class we will go over the basic tools you need to get started. After that, we will jump right into stamping…and create a few simple, beautiful cards. Be sure to bring your questions! Handouts will be provided. Please bring an adhesive runner, foam tape/dots, and detail scissors to class. All other materials will be provided.

Fabulous Techniques for Card Making

Join Cheiron for a fun filled evening of fabulous techniques! We will make 5 cards featuring some great inking and paper techniques to create stylish cards for all occasions including: resist stamping, marker stamping, embossing, letterpress, layered stamping, making embellishments with canvas, window cards and more. We will be learning lots of new techniques in the class, but the cards will remain clean and simple. You MUST bring detail scissors, foam tape/dots and an adhesive runner to class. All other materials will be provided.

Dies to Die For!  
Wed, August 10th 7:15-9:15

Have you tried all the fabulous dies available at The Ink Pad yet? Join Cheiron as she shows you how to use some of her favorite dies from Tim Holtz, My Favorite Things, and Memory Box. They all work in the machines a little differently, but all produce beautiful results! You will get some practice cutting shapes with paper, felt, and even cork (and dressing them up). These fun shapes will be added to your card projects for the evening. All cutting in this class will be done on the Sizzix Big Shot, but all of these dies are compatable with most die cut machines. You MUST bring detail scissors, foam tape/dots and an adhesive runner to class. All other materials will be provided.

Wednesday, May 18th Colorful Cards with Copics 7:15pm
Do you need more practice with your Copics? Whether you are already comfortable with Copics, or just starting your collection, you are sure to pick up a few tricks. Join Cheiron Brandon, certified Copic Instructor, for a fun night of creating beautifully colored cards. This class will go over some basic coloring techniques, as well as provide detailed explanations on how to color the stamped images on the projects for the evening. Please feel free to bring your own markers to practice with if you have them, as well as your required class kit.

Distress Ink Techniques
Do you love all the fabulous colors of distress inks, but aren't really sure how to use them? Join Cheiron learn a variety of techniques that are guaranteed to make your cards look truly amazing! In this class we will explore distress ink backgrounds using ink blending tools, faux watercolor techniques and more! Please bring a non-stick craft sheet to class in addition to the Basic class kit (adhesive runner, detail scissors, and anything else you can't create without).

Join Cheiron to learn how to make some great cards that will hold gift cards (and cash too!). We will also be decorating a small gift bag, which is perfect for the holidays. Basic class kit required (adhesive, detail scissors).

Holiday Tags Extravagaza, Thursday Dec 16th 7:15pm
In this class we will be making 21 holday tags! These tags are the perfect complement to simple wrapping paper, and can also be used as an embellishment on a card, scrapbook page and almost anything else. You will go home with 21 tags in all-7 designs/3 of each. Basic class kit required (adhesive, detail scissors).
