We will be making cards with beautiful flowers just in time for spring! Join Cheiron to make a set of flower themed cards, and decorate a pretty gift box to put them in. These cards are perfect for a gift to a friend, Mother's Day, or just to keep for yourself. Required supplies: detail scissor, adhesive, foam tape or dots

Birthday Bash 7:15-9:15 pm

We’ll create cards with banners, stars, ribbons and balloons. Join Cheiron to make a variety of Birthday cards. You are sure to learn some new tips and techniques, and will build up your stash of birthday cards. No more running to the store at the last minute to buy one! Required supplies:  detail scissor, adhesive,  foam tape or dots, and anything else you can't create without!

 

Saturday, March 24th **CLASS AT WESTBETH COMMUNITY CENTER**

Be Inspired Technique Canvas 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm

Create your own “inspiration board” full of techniques and handmade embellishments that you are sure to turn to again and again for inspiration on cards and other crafty projects. This class is based on techniques that Cheiron learned hands-on in Jennifer McGuire’s Inspiration Showcase class. Now she will share them with you in a workshop setting. You will go home with your own 11 x 14 canvas that can be displayed in your crafty space. Required supplies: students must bring a non-stick craft sheet, scissor, adhesive, glossy accents, heat tool, foam tape or dots.

Friday, March 30
Springtime Cards 7-9 pm
Join Cheiron Brandon to make a collection of greeting cards inspired by the colors of spring. You will create cards with fresh colors and fun embellishments while learning some of Cheiron's favorite techniques. You will go home with six cards that can be used for a variety of occasions. You must bring required class supplies, all other materials to make the cards will be provided in your class kit. Required class supplies: Detail scissors, adhesive runner, foam tape (or dots) and anything else you can't create without!

Hugs & Kisses Cards

Want some Hugs and Kisses you can send through the mail? Join Cheiron to create your own handmade Valentine cards and decorated envelopes. We will be using some of the fabulous new Hero Arts stamps from the 2012 catalog release to create Valentine's cards that are perfect for friends, family or that special someone in your life. As always, you will come away learning the newest stamping techniques and designs that you will be able to use on any type of card! 12 Tags of Christmas
Join Cheiron as we create 12 Christmas themed tags, each with a different stamping technique. Students will create 12 beautiful Christmas tags while learning stamping techniques with Distress Inks, stains, and background inking/stamping techniques. These tags look beautiful on presents and gift bags.  Or simply stamp a sentiment and add them to a card for a fun look! Intro to Stamping

Not only will you get an introduction to stamping in this class, you will actually make some cards! Have you always wanted to make your own handmade cards, but didn’t know what you needed to get started? Are you new to stamping, and just don’t know what all those products are for? Join Cheiron to explore the world of stamping. In this class we will go over the basic tools you need to get started. After that, we will jump right into stamping…and create a few simple, beautiful cards. Be sure to bring your questions! Handouts will be provided. Please bring an adhesive runner, foam tape/dots, and detail scissors to class. All other materials will be provided.

Fabulous Techniques for Card Making

Join Cheiron for a fun filled evening of fabulous techniques! We will make 5 cards featuring some great inking and paper techniques to create stylish cards for all occasions including: resist stamping, marker stamping, embossing, letterpress, layered stamping, making embellishments with canvas, window cards and more. We will be learning lots of new techniques in the class, but the cards will remain clean and simple. You MUST bring detail scissors, foam tape/dots and an adhesive runner to class. All other materials will be provided.

Dies to Die For!

Have you tried all the fabulous dies available at The Ink Pad yet? Join Cheiron as she shows you how to use some of her favorite dies from Tim Holtz, My Favorite Things, and Memory Box. They all work in the machines a little differently, but all produce beautiful results! You will get some practice cutting shapes with paper, felt, and even cork (and dressing them up). These fun shapes will be added to your card projects for the evening. All cutting in this class will be done on the Sizzix Big Shot, but all of these dies are compatable with most die cut machines. You MUST bring detail scissors, foam tape/dots and an adhesive runner to class. All other materials will be provided.

Sending Smiles

Join Cheiron  to make some cheerful cards using the Sending Smiles Messages set from Hero Arts.  We will use all the sentiments in this set to make cards that feature a sentiment on the outside and a corresponding message on the inside. Wednesday, May 18th Colorful Cards with Copics 7:15pm
Do you need more practice with your Copics? Whether you are already comfortable with Copics, or just starting your collection, you are sure to pick up a few tricks. Join Cheiron Brandon, certified Copic Instructor, for a fun night of creating beautifully colored cards. This class will go over some basic coloring techniques, as well as provide detailed explanations on how to color the stamped images on the projects for the evening. Please feel free to bring your own markers to practice with if you have them, as well as your required class kit.

Do you love all the fabulous colors of distress inks, but aren't really sure how to use them? Join Cheiron learn a variety of techniques that are guaranteed to make your cards look truly amazing! In this class we will explore distress ink backgrounds using ink blending tools, faux watercolor techniques and more! Please bring a non-stick craft sheet to class in addition to the Basic class kit (adhesive runner, detail scissors, and anything else you can't create without).

Make It Merry  Wednesday Dec 8th, 7:15pm
Join Cheiron to learn how to make some great cards that will hold gift cards (and cash too!). We will also be decorating a small gift bag, which is perfect for the holidays. Basic class kit required (adhesive, detail scissors).

Holiday Tags Extravagaza, Thursday Dec 16th 7:15pm
In this class we will be making 21 holday tags! These tags are the perfect complement to simple wrapping paper, and can also be used as an embellishment on a card, scrapbook page and almost anything else. You will go home with 21 tags in all-7 designs/3 of each. Basic class kit required (adhesive, detail scissors).
