I got my Simon Says Stamp March Kit in the mail yesterday. I believe the March kit is all sold out, but you can get a subscription that will guarantee you get the April kit. I love opening a box of papers, stamps and goodies that are all coordinated (especially when they are selected by Kristina Werner). For a cardmaker, there is definitely more than enough stuff to make a bunch of cards. I put the pile on my table tonight and I came up with 2 cards, and a tag with a totally different look.
A pretty simple card made by just cutting out a strip of the patterned paper, and using a sentiment from the stamp set.
The next card uses a banner from the stamp set, and a little polaroid that I cut out from another of the patterned papers. I added a button, a flower, and punched a circle out of one of the papers for an additional embellishment.
The last thing I made used a sentiment that was printed on one of the papers. I used the star stamp in the stamp set and did a resist technique with some distress inks to make this tag that I can use in my art journal. The little tape looking flags are made with some of the patterned papers. The twine and screw brad are also in the kit.
