busy with Big Boy

Sounds pretty exciting,huh? For those of you who don't know, we picked up a rescue pup on Sunday. His name is Big Boy and he is 60 pounds of sweetness! Now that he is getting used to the house, and laying on the couch while I craft, I will have a bunch of projects to share with you in the next few days.

missing u

I've certainly been missing my crafty space lately. Here's a fun little "missing u" card using one of my favorite Hero Arts stamp sets, Year Round Sentiments. This set has a sentiment for almost every occasion and I just love the fonts!  Thought this sentiment would go perfectly with a little misted background. I picked up the letter stencil at Staples.

catching up

It was a super busy weekend and so far a really busy week...but last night I got some time to sit down in the crafty space and do a little catching up. 

I signed up for the Fold It, Pop It, Flip It, Zip It! class taught by Julie Ebersole over at Ellen Hutson. It's still not too late to sign up!  Julie does a great job explaining how to construct these fun cards, and who wouldn't love to get one of these babies in the mail! This is from Monday's lesson, and I love that it folds flat for mailing: 

Can't wait to spend some time in the crafty space this weekend. This one was a bit tough for me, but I used my sentiment to make a patterned paper for my "inspirational hill".
