Julie's 50th Birthday Celebration Blog Hop

meet the design team blog hop!

It's time to introduce the design team at A Blog Named Hero for 2013! I am so happy to be a part of this team for another year and love working with this great group of gals. I am also constantly inspired by everyone who participates in the fun challenges at A Blog Named Hero too! day one fun!

So glad that Clean & Simple Card Making is back for Part 2 over on onlinecardclasses.com. The first class had to be one of my favorites! I finally got some time to try out a few of the techniques from class and play around with some of the sketches and thought these papers would work well for a guy Hello card. 

This Hero Arts Hello Bubble has got to be one of my favorite stamps from the 2013 Catalog. I can't seem to stop using it and I'll have another post featuring this stamp real soon.

simon says stamp challenge: paper piecing

Time for another challenge over on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog. This week's theme is paper piecing and the DT is using Lily Bee Papers. I love 6 x6 paper pads and decided to pull out a few of my Lily Bee favorites for this week's challenge. My entire girl image is paper pieced (can you tell her face is made of lined paper?). Something a little different for me, but I love how she came out and plan to send her off to a friend who could use this card right about now. 

Hope you will pull out some of those patterened papers that we all hoard collect and try this challenge out for yourself. You could win a $50 shopping voucher to the Simon Says Stamp store!
