simon says stamp challenge: anything goes!

Time for a new challenge over on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog. This week's challenge theme is ANYTHING GOES! The design team is using Candi from Craftwork Cards this week so use them if you have them, we'd love to see what you make with these fun little embellishements. I thought they would be a fun and festive pop on this gold card.

The design team is using American Crafts products this week so use them if you have them, we'd love to see what you make with American Crafts. This week I have used a bunch of fun summery papers from the Lucky Charm 6 x 6 pad. . I made this fun card with some fun tag and cherry frame cuts from Hero Arts.

Just a quick share. I have been playing around with stencils and paints this month and learning a lot of new techniques. I thought it would be fun to experiment on some canvases. I went small with this one, it's a 5 x 7. I started with some molding paste and stencils for texture and added layers of paper, paint and stamps. I used the butterflies from the Antique Engravings set from Hero Arts and colored them in with Distress Markers. And why not enter this into the Stamp Your Story contest at Hero Arts? These beautiful butterflies are featured in the most recent catalog.
