simon says stamp wednesday challenge: anything goes!

 

Time for a new challenge over on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog. This week's challenge theme is Anything Goes and the design team is using Simon Says Stamp exclusive products this week. SO many fun stamps and dies to choose from, but I decided to use one that had not seen ink yet. This Cupake Party set was great to stamp with, I love all the combinations of cupcakes to be made!

There are so many fun things to choose from, but I am loving this Hero Arts Summer Lovin' set right now, and am always in the mood for a summer beverage! 

I was inspired by the frosty beverage right on top of the lovely inspiration board created for us by Joy this week. What a great collection of summer treats! Can't wait to see which one inspires your creation this week.

summer card camp week 3: day 2

Another fun day at Summer Card Camp 2. Today's "homework" was to work with some embossed die cuts. I did not have the die cuts featured in class, although they have been added to my list. I decided to work with some flower dies I did have and substituted some embossed dots for the butterflies used in class.

Catching up on some Summer Card Camp "homework". This week's lessons include making fun layered stamped backgrounds and banners. This card is pretty much CASEd from Jennifer's card this week, except for the stamps I used.

Since I put myself in charge of beverages, I'd also like to share a delicious Black Cherry Cola Cocktail that's just for the "grown ups" at this picnic: 

Fill a rocks glass with ice.

Then add: 
One and a half ounces of black cherry vodka
Three and a half ounces of Coke
Half an ounce of grenadine
 
Stir gently and garnish with cherries.
