I had a little fun playtime tonight with a bunch of NEW Tim Holtz stamps that arrived while I was away this weekend. Of all the releases I saw from CHA, this Tim Holtz Big Top set was the one I wanted most. I'm not sure what it is but I love everything about it, the woodcarved look of the stamps and the whimsical feel of the entire set.
I tore off the packaging and inked it up immediately and thought it would be fun to play with a few techniques on some tags. I made this fun background with distress paints, and then used my layering stencils with Distress Inks in Mowed Lawn, Squeezed Lemonade, Picked Raspberry and Ripe Persimmon to create this # happy tag. This fun set is available at Simon Says Stamp now...so go get one for yourself :) I paired it with the hashtag set to make it super #happy! I'll have some other fun stuff to share with this set during the week.
