Nothing like the last minute for my Tim tag this month! I loved creating this tag and I've incorporated some of MY favorite Tim Holtz products: Winged Things, mirrored stars and a rainbow of distress stains...
I just LOVE how the distress stains look on the texture paste. This is a technique that I will be using a lot in the future.

Hey Jersey gals... want to buy some of my gently used craft supplies real cheap? There is going to be a HUGE crafty garage sale this weekend at Paper Anthology in Kenvil, NJ. Some exciting news today...I will be joining the Hero Arts artist team and I could not be more thrilled. When I took my very first stamping class in 2004, we made cards with Hero Arts stamps and I fell in love with them. Ten years later, I have to say that I have a wonderful collection :)
I am looking forward to this opportunity and was thrilled to be invited to be part of this team. Today I'm playing around with a fun digi created by my crafty friend Elena Roussakis....Elena created this while learning Illustrator and a few of us thought it would be fun to take this beach gal for a spin on our card creations. You can get your own copy of the digi here on Elena's blog.

Time for a new challenge over on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog. This week's challenge is Make It Sparkle and the design team is using products from Jane's Doodles and /or Neat and Tangled. I decided to use the On the Strip set by stamping the strips with all of my favorite Simon inks and top it off with a sentiment from a Thanksgiving Set (but it works great for any occasion). It's hard to see my sparkle in the photo, but believe me this card has a lovely layer of shimmer all over!

So happy to have some time today to play along with the latest Online Card Class, Stretch Your Stamps 2! I loved the techniques in today's lesson and hope to have some time to try them all this week.
