Time for a new challenge over on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog. This week's challenge is Christmas/Holidays and the design team is using products from Stampendous. I used the Grunge set designed by Nathalie Kalbach (did you know all of these stamp sets also come with a stencil) along with some Distress paint to create this artsy Chrismas card.
This is what the stamps look like in the set:
I used the stamp on the bottom, painted on it with Festive Berries and Pine Needles Distress Paints. When the paint was dry, I traced over the circle shapes with a Versamark marker and then embossed them in gold. Then a simple sentiment embossed on a painted strip to finish it off.

BEAUTIFUL! LOVE the colors you've used!!!!!!!!!! :D It's FUN to use stamps like this---it gives such an "artsy" feel to ones project & makes me feel like a "true artist!" ;)
