Another last minute attempt at the 12 tags...and I love how these came out. I made 2 different versions this time. I loved the watercolor background and painting technique, the drop shadow and especially creating the ribbon!!

I have been wanting to try out their Art Mica powders and they are fabulous. I can't wait to use them on everything, especially my art journal...they look great mixed with water or painted over texture on a project. I wish I had ordered more colors!

hero arts: color layering flowers

 

Just a quick Hero Arts card today using one of the new Color Layering Sets from the Summer 2015 Catalog. This one is called Color Layering Let Love Grow.

The flowers are stamped in Soft Pink, Fresh Peach and Raspberry Jam and the leave in Mint Julep and Lime Green. This set was so fun to play with, there is something very relaxing about stamping in layers. And don't you just love the font?

Use the newest Tim Holtz stamps and Distress products to make cards with hearts, butterflies and fashionistas! Join Cheiron to learn some of her favorite Distress techniques using paint, stencils, sprays and more. Once we complete our colorful backgrounds, we’ll do some stamping, coloring and embellishing to turn our creations into finished cards. The finished product will be a wonderful work of art to send to any friend.
