simon says stamp wednesday challenge: anything goes!

Time for a new challenge over on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog. This week's challenge is Anything Goes and the Design Team is using Avery Elle products. I made a tag with bright festive colors, stamped and stenciled layers, and rock candy Distress glitter...perfect for any celebration. I topped it off with this fun sentiment from the Cake and Candles set.  I'll make sure to put this on a bottle of something fun for the next birthday party I go to!

hero arts: paint on canvas bold prints 6 x 6

Hi there! Today I am creating a fun card using one of the new Bold Prints 6 x 6 stamps from Hero Arts. I love these stamps and could not wait to play with this Paint on Canvas Bold Print stamp. It was so fun to ink it with Distress inks and stamp it onto watercolor paper.

simon says stamp wednesday challenge: stencil it!

Time for a new challenge over on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog. This week's challenge is Stencil It and the Design Team is using The Crafter's Workshop stencils this week. I love this Mini Windmills stencil from Ronda Palazzari. I put texture paste through the stencil and sprayed it with some delicious Distress Stains in Twisted Citron, Squeezed Lemonade, and Abandoned Coral. I added another layer of texture with a Black Soot Distress marker and a marker spritzer. Such a fun and summery background!

june 2015 card class at the ink pad (NYC)

My June class is scheduled at The Ink Pad in NYC for Friday, June 5th at 7pm and there are just a couple spots left. We will be creating six Sweet and Simple Stamped cards using the latest releases from Hero Arts, Lawn Fawn and Mama Elephant.  I will share my favorite tips and techniques for stamping, die cutting and embellishing your projects to create colorful and happy masterpieces.  The designs will be sweet and simple and super easy to recreate on your own.
