12 tags of 2015: november

It's been a really busy month at my house, but I still wanted to make time to create my Tim tag for this month. I had so much fun making these paint resist backgrounds that I wound up making three tags! I am trying to make gift tags in advance for the holidays, so all of my tags have a Christmas theme. 

The first is a fun snowman using the Holiday Knits stamps as a background: 

The second is a super sweet tag with a plaid pattern from the Plaid & Nordic set: 

Not sure Tim would approve, but here's a tag for the naughty folks...

No holiday cards here, just a night of fun stamping and relaxing coloring. We’ll also learn how to use the FUSE tool to create a fun shaker card…wait until you try it out for yourself!

simon says stamp monday challenge: thanks/thanksgiving

This week the them for the challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog is Thanks/Thanksgiving. I decided to pay tribute to my favorite Thanksgiving food, and that is ANYTHING pumpkin...I love the font on this Neat and Tangled Pumpkin Everything stamp. And the background? That was made with a chevron stamp from Winnie and Walter using distress inks spritzed with water that were stamped onto Distress Watercolor paper.

This week the them for the challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog is something that begins with the letter N. This week I chose numbers...

We recently found out  that our landlord wants to sell the place we have called home for the past few years. We are lucky that we found a place just a few minutes away that is being completely renovated...and I will finally have a crafty room of my own again. All this moving has me thinking about numbers, and a lot of changes that are on the way.  I made this art journal page with the artful dwelling die, and added our new house number on it. 

I love the colors of these new Ranger Paint Dabbers together, and the fun texture from the Splotches layering stencil.
