This week the theme for the challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog is Inspired by A Song. Pearl Jam was my inspiration this week. I was inspired this week by the music playing in my studio as I was creating. I made this Framed Panel with Distress Paints and spattered on Black Soot Distress paint with a Distress Splatter brush to give it a grungy look. I added even more layers to my background with the Bubble and Stars Layering Stencils.
Be sure to stop back and play along with us in a new challenge each Monday!

One of my favorite creations of yours yet! I am digging this color palette and LOVE the grungy, yet still happy, vibe that you gave it. The pop of red is perfect and the background layering you did is nothing short of genius. And who could NOT be inspired by Pearl Jam? That band had a huge impact on my brother growing up, and since we shared a wall and he liked to crank the tines, I have fond memories of him whenever I hear their music. "Restless soul enjoy your youth..." They helped me enjoy mine and I'm so glad you paid such an awesome-looking tribute to them!
