This week the theme for the challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog is Use Your Lucky Stars. This week, it was all about all of the new Dina Wakley paints and stencils to create my art journal background. I added lots of layers of paint and stencils onto one of Dylusions journal insert sheets in black. To finish off my page I added images from the Scribbly Fashion Figures and Grungy Stars sets. The sentiment was made by mixing some Tim Holtz Big Chat and Small Talk.
Be sure to stop back and play along with us in a new challenge each Monday!
Simon Says Stamp is giving away a $50 gift voucher that will go to one random challenge entry. So please join us for this week's challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. You might also be on our Friday Designer Spotlight. Good luck, I can't wait to see what you make!

Ooh I like this, very nice. I wish my brain worked like yours, whenever I try and create things like this, I panic and it ends up a hot mess. You are going to have to give me more guidance :) Cx

Fabulous. Your artwork in the background uses much of the same palette my bro uses... I am so attracted to it! I always love these girls, too. What's cool to me also about this is that the scale could be 3x5" or 10x15'!

It's almost got a psychedelic, mid-century vibe to it. I love all design from that era. This is such a fun page.

This is such a great piece! I feel like it is such an interesting scene and I want to talk to this girl and find out what her story is! Very thoughtful and energetic at the same time. I also thought the sentiment was great!
