This week the theme for the challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog is We Can See Clearly. This week, take a look into your stash and use acetate, vellum, or anything you can think of that is a little transparent or simply can use your imagination to fit the theme :)
I have been wanting to play with the Tim Holtz Paper Mosaic kit for a while now. I decided to make my grout black with the help of some Black Soot Distress Paint and add painted tag pieces that I painted with Distress Paints and cut out. I added a some clear Mirrored Stars (colored with alcohol ink), a shield charm, a mini plaquette, salvaged doll and a charm from the Souvenir adornments. I just love how shiny the "tiles" look.
Be sure to stop back and play along with us in a new challenge each Monday!
Simon Says Stamp is giving away a $50 gift voucher that will go to one random challenge entry. So please join us for this week's challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. You might also be on our Friday Designer Spotlight. Good luck, I can't wait to see what you make!
