This week the theme for the challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog is Emboss It! Use embossing powder, embossing folders or even embossing paste :)
For my project this week, I used the Ornate Frame 2 Sizzix Die to highlight my stamped image from the Tim Holtz Evolution set. I stamped my image and placed the frame where I wanted it to be then, traced a pencil line inside the framed area and painted over the area outside the line with Distress Collage Crazing medium. I then colored over the crazing with Distress Crayons and rubbed them in with my fingers. I embossed the frame with Ranger Black Embossing Powder and also went over the frame with Distress Crayons for some colorful texture.
Be sure to stop back and play along with us in a new challenge each Monday!
