This week the theme for the challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog is It's a Stitchup! I have been wanting to sew for a while and my mom is an amazing seamstress, but I just never learned. So she finally taught my how to do a few stitches on paper with my sewing machine that I will be able to use on some future projects. I need a lot more practice, but the stitching definitely adds something fun to the card. I've used lots of new Dina Wakley goodies on this card, and a piece of an old journal page along with some music paper. The sentiment is from the Boxed Faces set, I think this is a perfect card for so many occasions!
Be sure to stop back and play along with us in a new challenge each Monday!
Simon Says Stamp is giving away a $50 gift voucher that will go to one random challenge entry. So please join us for this week's challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. You might also be on our Friday Designer Spotlight. Good luck, I can't wait to see what you make!

Fabulous card Cheiron, the colours and whole design is gorgeous :-)
I am feeling very guilty, I can sew quite well and my daughter has never learned, the next time she is home I will give her a few lessons on the machine, I am hanging my head in shame ;-)

Ha, ha! Our sewing histories sound so similar! My mom is a genius with patterns and stuff, but I made the worst junior-high sewing projects in Home Ec! Not even my mom could save me! But I really loved how your wonky stitches turned out here and I adore the colors and patterns you chose.
