Hi there. Just popping in to share a fun Halloween card that I created with some of the newest Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous stamps. This witch was so fun to color and yes..that's a bit of Stickles on her earring, even witches deserve a bit of bling. 

The background was super easy to create with the Stamp Platform and some masking tape. Once it was stamped, I added some more of the same color over top with my foam blending tools and then gave it a spritz of water. 

Of course, I used my FAVORITE combo of Distress Oxides for Halloween: Black Soot, Fossilized Amber, Seedless Preserves and Twisted Citron. Have you added these to your collection yet? If not, I have some to giveaway. Just leave me a comment below and I'll pick a winner on Friday!

STAMPtember®: Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous EXCLUSIVE!

SO excited to share some projects I made with the newest STAMPtember® collaboration from Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous! I always love the Tim STAMPtember® set and this one is no exception. It's got the perfect amount of card size images from his latest holiday release and a stencil that comes with it. Such a great value and I think this would be a perfect gift for any of the Tim fans on your holiday shopping list too! 

Here's a close up of the stamps and stencil: 

And a couple of the cards that I made with it. The first one is super simple: a stamped an embossed snowman on a panel inked with Distress Oxides. I went over it with the stencil using the same Oxide colors, then offset the stencil a bit for some embossing with holographic embossing powder. 

The second card I made has a totally different style. I embossed the Sparkles stamp in gold in a repeating pattern then added an inky background with Distress Inks, and painted in some of the sparkles with Distress Oxides. I added a ton of snowflakes in different textures and adhered my sentiment to the top:

It's Day 4 of the Neat and Tangled release, hope you have enjoyed what you have seen so far! Today I am featuring the Oak Leaf stamp and die set. I see a lot of fall cards in my future with this one. Today, I have inked up a rainbow background with Distress Oxides, and made several leaves in coordinating colors and paper pieced them together. The background was stamped over in a very light ink with all of the words included in the set: Grateful, Blessed and Thankful.

neat and tangled: textured landscapes

Today is Day 3 of the Neat and Tangled release and we are using the Textured Landscapes set designed by Miriam. This set is so fun to play with and I can already see tons of uses for it. I tried something a bit different and made a set of 3 1/2 X 5 notecards using the stamps to make a bunch of different background patterns in black and white. I topped each card off with one of the blocks from the Planner Blocks set cut out and popped up with foam tape:

neat and tangled: holiday baking

Hi there! Time for Day 2 of the September Neat and Tangled release and this time, we are playing with some super sweet holiday stamps. The holiday baking set is full of cute critters, sweets and treats! To create my card today, I stamped a panel with all of the "ingredients" and colored them in with copics. I die cut a scalloped circle from the center and created a tulle shaker with some clear sequins. To finish off the window, I added the baking bear and his little bunny helper:

neat and tangled: you're pretty

Welcome to Day 1 of the Neat and Tangled September release! Today we are featuring the brand new You're Pretty set. This is such a fun set and I love all the ways to tell someone they are pretty inside and out! I thought this card would be perfect for my niece and plan to add it to the back to school package of goodies I am going to mail her. I created the background with some easy mark making with Distress Paints in Seedless Preserves, Tattered Rose, Shaded Lilac, Antique Linen, and a bit of Tarnished Brass splatter.

STAMPtember® is here!: simon exclusives

STAMPtember® is here! I am happy to be creating today with one of the newest sets from Simon's exclusive release, You Got This. There are so many great uplifting sentiments in this set, I am sure I will be reaching for it over and over! 

To create my card, I heat embossed the Abstract Triangles stamp, then inked up the panel with Distress Oxides and Distress Inks in my favorite rain shower hues. 

I created this card to open in the center, so when the recipient opens it, they will see the big beautiful rainbow inside! I inked the inside with my favorite colors of Distress Inks and stamped over the panel with the Circle Doodle Background in the same colors. I added a simple HAVE FAITH inside.
