simon says stamp: making spirits bright holiday 2017 release

So happy to be sharing a couple of cards today with the newest Simon Says Stamp release, Making Spirits Bright!  This release has something for everyone, die cuts, stamps and stencils ranging from cute to elegant. I was lucky enough to receive this beautiful Pine Needles Trio die in the mail, and I sure had fun creating two totally different looks with it:

For the first card, I did a super merry rainbow holiday card, creating a background of Distress Oxides, black soot distress paint splatter, clear sequins and a simple "Merry" sentiment from the CZ designs Coolest Yulest set:

 
For my second card, I went with something a bit more traditional with hues of pink and green and nestled the pine needles behind the Believe Wafer die in between the layers of Kaleidoscope Leaves Background panel.

neat and tangled: falling circles cover plate

Welcome to Day 4 of the Neat and Tangled release! Hope you like what you have seen this week, I know I certainly have had fun creating with this release and it will be in the shop tomorrow. Today we are featuring the Falling Circles cover plate and I just love it for snow, but can see using it for confetti, a graphic card or even in an ocean scene! 

With a little help from the backdrop stamp, I was able to create a mirror stamp of the yeti, making this pair the perfect winter couple for this scene!

neat and tangled: hello winter

It's Day 3 of the Neat and Tangled release and today there is even more fun in store! Today we are featuring the Hello Winter set full of fun winter words, cute snowflakes and a matching word die: 

 

To create my card, I inked up the background with Distress Oxides, then stamped the stamp in the same colors twice to create my background. I added a layer of popped up vellum over the top with the circle from the Making Waves die set and embossed the 'hello' in white then added the winter die cut.

Hi there! It's Day 2 of the Neat and Tangled Release and we are featuring the Truck Die and sentiments. This is a 3-D die that stands on its own, but today, I used one panel of it and turned it into a truck for my little reindog Santa. I've a added a tag that pulls out from the side which is the perfect size for a gift card:

Hi there! Time for Day 1 of the October Neat and Tangled release and what a fun week it's going to be. Today's set features a totally adorable Yeti. Isn't he the cutest? 

I colored in the yeti, mountains and little log cabin, and Yeti or Not banner and arranged them into a little snow scene on my card:
