get crackin on christmas: june

Continuing along with my goal to 'Get Cracking on Christmas' all year long, by creating my Christmas cards with a few crafty friends throughout the year! If you want to see how it all started, go to my original post here.

Today, I created a card with a set that I bought last year and never got to ink up the Holiday Spirits stamps from Avery Elle. I love these whimsical bottles of cheer and know a few friends who will really appreciate these cards :) I was able to stamp and color a bunch of these and add them to my stash..

It's Day 4 of the Neat and Tangled release and I hope you have enjoyed all you have seen this week! Today we are featuring the Hot Dog set and I can't get enough of these adorable franks...I colored and cute them out to create my background pattern, and added some Nuvo Crystal Drops to make the ketchup and mustard really shine :)

Welcome to Day 3 of the Neat and Tangled release! Today we are featuring this gorgeous Magnolia stamp set and dies. If you like to color, then this one is for you. These images are so fun to color. For my card, I colored in and cut several flowers and arranged them onto a stitched panel that I ink blended with Wilted Violet and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide and Spritzed with water. I layered the panel onto some vellum and then onto a kraft notecard. For the finishing touch, I added some Nuvo drops in Morning Dew.

Welcome to Day 2 of the Neat and Tangled June release. Today we are featuring a super cute new Dog Die and a matching set of all occasion sentiments called Clearly Canine.  I cut out the die, added a body and a hat and made him into one furry fella!

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the Masculine Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too! This week the challenge is All Things Bright and Beautiful and we are using stamps from Paper Artsy. 

 

I used lots of bright colors and Tim Holtz stamps and stencils to create my background for my Paper Artsy pigs and added a sentiment with some Tim Holtz Snarky Small Talk.

I colored them in a non-traditional palette of yellow green, peach and teal and added some tiny felt clouds to their skyline :)
