simon says stamp monday challenge: going around in circles

Hi crafty friends, it's time for another challenge over one the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us in last week's Challenge and I hope you will join us again this week too! This week our challenge is Going Around in Circles and I've used one of my favorite Tim Holtz backgrounds to make this fun and colorful card. 


To create this background, I laid the stamp flat on my table and colored each ring with a different color marker. When they were all colored in, I gave the stamp a light spritz (maybe 3-4 sprays) from six inches away and then pressed the smooth side of my watercolor paper onto the stamp. I love how crisp and vibrant the rings came out!

Today we are featuring this adorable To The Stars stamp set and you are going to just love these sweet little images with their tiny stars. To create this background, I made an ombre alcohol ink panel in my favorite pinks, then stamped the background with Alcohol Lift Ink. I just love the look of it!

I created a few panels with Gina K Designs Foil Mates Ornamental Holiday Sheets to make that foiled striped piece in my card.
