Hi crafty friends, it's time for another challenge over one the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us in last week's Make Your Own Background Challenge and we hope you will join us this week in our Life on the Ocean Waves Challenge. I just picked up this new Crackle 3D Texture Fade Embossing Folder and I thought it would make excellent "waves" if I used it concave side up and painted in each section with Distress Inks.
Once that was dry, I stamped and cut out the crab and the sentiment "I'm Sorry" from the Crazy Talk set, and the word "crabby' with the letters from the Blockprint set onto Kraft card stock. I love the carved look of these letters and realize these are something I should be using more often!
When I had all my sentiments together, I added them to the card. I added some hardware heads to the "crabby" sentiment strip that I had aged with some Mushroom Alcohol Ink. I added the crab from the Mariner Blueprint set and tucked a bit of inked Mummy Cloth behind him.
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store!
So now it's YOUR turn, Happy Crafting

This is so perfect! Every component joins up for an amazing and comprehensive design. I'd never thought to put all these gems together. You have magic in those fingers, gal!!! I am crab-crazy and this says it. All. Need to look into that "mummy cloth", something with which I am not familiar. Always learning something from you. Thanks for the inspiration!

Such a fun idea with a crabby card Cheiron! The red also stands out so well against the lovely blue background.
