simon says stamp monday challenge: all things pink

 

Hi crafty friends, it's time for another challenge over one the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us in the Autumn/Fall Challenge last week and we hope you will join us this week too. This week our challenge is All Things Pink and I've created a pink Snowwoman card styled with a shiny pink scarf and mittens. 

To create my card this week, I used a few brand new Tim Holtz Sizzix dies including the Mr. Snowman Colorize die, Christmas Ribbons and Festive Things. I started by creating a background panel by blending Distress Oxides in Salty Ocean, Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers, then misting the panel with some water. When the panel was dry, I added some Ranger Texture Paste through the Mini Starry Stencil that comes in the Mini Layering Stencil Set 44. While the panel was drying I cut out my die cuts. The sentiment I backed with craft foam that had an adhesive backing before I ran it through the die cutting machine.
