Hello crafty friends! I am thrilled to share some cards today that I created with some of the amazing clear stamp sets from The Gray Muse. You may not know that the super sweet owner of The Gray Muse, Rubeena, lives a town over from me, and I have had the pleasure of hanging out with her a few times. I have loved following her journey of crafting, watching her opening her own shop selling inspiring enamel pin designs, and most recently adding clear stamps to her line of products.

I have played with a few of The Gray Muse fantastic sets today and made a couple of cards to share with you. For the first card, I used the Happiness Blooms set and colored it in with Copics in some bright pinks and purples. I gave the panel a thin black border and stamped the sentiment on its own mini panel and adhered it to the card. 

For my second card, I created something super quick and easy...and totally adorable combining the Dogs in the Craftroom and  a simple sentiment from the You Grow Girl set, which is perfect to send to any of my dog loving friends!

This week our challenge is Party Time and this week the challenge will extend for 2 weeks! For my festive new year card I cut the "streamers" from the Deck The Halls Colorize Thinlits dies out of all different colors of Metallic Kraft Core papers in Confections, Jewels, and Metallic. I cut the stars out of the same colors and arranged them among the streamers. I finished off the card with the Happy New Year from the Christmastime 2 stamp set embossed in Ranger Silver embossing powder.

I just finished writing out all my Christmas cards last night, but you know there are always a few that you still need at the last minute! I created this card with one of my favorite sets I bought this season, the Winter Mini Snowglobe from Flora and Fauna. I can't believe how unbelievably cute (and tiny) these images are!!! You know each year, I create some kind of rainbow card, so here is one for this year...

I used the stamps in the Texture set to create my background by stamping them in rainbow colors of Distress Oxides to create a background.

Hi crafty friends, it's time for another challenge over on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us in the Let's Sparkle challenge last week and we sure hope you will join us this week too! 

 

This week our challenge is Stars and today I've created a Magical Santa Card with a background of Snowy Stars. To create this card I stamped the Santa from the Yuletide set, colored him in with Distress Inks and a water brush and cut him out. I inked up a panel of DIstress Watercolor Paper with Blueprint Sketch distress Ink, and sprayed it with water, and some Mica Spray. 

 

Then I cut out the Sizzix Snowy Stars from my inked panel and backed them with white cardstock. I added the Santa image along with some Ephemera and stickers from the Christmas Noel Sticker Book and also added a Christmas Quote Chip with two Hardware Heads.

Simon Says Stamp DieCember® Release Blog Hop Day 2

Happy Friday crafty friends! You should have arrived here from the blog of the AMAZING Vicky Papaioannou. Thank you for joining me on Day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp DieCember® release. So many great new stamps and dies and the new Art Supplies die is one of my favorites of all, and has definitely put me in the watercolor mood for this release. I cut out and colored in the watercolor pan set, then added the same colors to create an artsy background. It paired perfectly with a sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Crafty Friend stamp set. 

Keeping with the watercolor mood, I created a watercolor background to show off the new The World Needs die. This die takes up almost the entire card front, so it is perfect for a colorful background.

Hi crafty friends, it's time for another challenge over on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us in the Tape It Up challenge last week and we sure hope you will join us this week too! 

 

This week our challenge is Let's Sparkle and this week the Design Team is using products from Brutus Monroe. I used the Brutus Monroe Fallen Snow Glitter Glaze to give some sparkle to my snowflakes:

 

To create this card, I cut a panel from DIstress Watercolor Cardstock. Then I added a bit of DIstress Mica Sprays to the background with a paintbrush. I cut the Fanciful Snowflakes and the Paper Snowflakes Mini from Metallic and watercolor cardstock. I gave each of the Metallic Snowflakes a center with the Metallic Droplets. For the copper colored droplet, I painted it with Antiqued Bronze DIstress Paint. For the white snowflakes, I added the Brutus Monroe Fallen Snow Glitter Glaze to give even more sparkle. To finish the card, I added a sentiment from the Modern Christmas set stamped in Gold.
