simon says stamp monday challenge: let's sparkle

 

Hi crafty friends, it's time for another challenge over on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us in the Tape It Up challenge last week and we sure hope you will join us this week too! 

 

This week our challenge is Let's Sparkle and this week the Design Team is using products from Brutus Monroe. I used the Brutus Monroe Fallen Snow Glitter Glaze to give some sparkle to my snowflakes:

 

To create this card, I cut a panel from DIstress Watercolor Cardstock. Then I added a bit of DIstress Mica Sprays to the background with a paintbrush. I cut the Fanciful Snowflakes and the Paper Snowflakes Mini from Metallic and watercolor cardstock. I gave each of the Metallic Snowflakes a center with the Metallic Droplets. For the copper colored droplet, I painted it with Antiqued Bronze DIstress Paint. For the white snowflakes, I added the Brutus Monroe Fallen Snow Glitter Glaze to give even more sparkle. To finish the card, I added a sentiment from the Modern Christmas set stamped in Gold.
