Hi crafty friends, welcome to this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! Thank you to all of you who played along with us last week in our A Bit O'Green Challenge and I hope you will play along with us this week in the Stencil Fun Challenge. This week I was inspired by Tim Holtz and the Facebook demo he did over the weekend on the new DIstress Embossing Glazes. You can still watch it over on his Facebook page :) To create this card, I used Crackle Distress Texture Paste through the Bubbles stencil, and sprinkled on Embossing Glazes in several colors. When the paste was dry, I heat set the piece with an Embossing Tool. Once this was done, I ink blended Pumice Stone Distress Ink over the entire piece. I stamped images from the Glitch 1 and Glitch 2 sets using DIstress Archival Inks.

I stamped and fussy cut the The Professor 2 and colored the image in with DIstress Markers, then I adhered him to the panel. I finished the card by adding the ticket from the Urban Layers Idea-olgy pack, attaching it with a Tiny Clip, and then adding a piece of Vintage Flair.

I matted the piece onto a piece of Ranger Alcohol Ink Matte Black Cardstock, then onto a piece of Metallic Kraft Core, then finally onto a piece of paper from the Abandoned paper stash. I love fun crackle and color you get from mixing the paste with the Embossing Glaze.

How is it possible for you to create such amazing crafts? Do you imagine the illustration before you start crafting or what? I love it!
