Hi crafty friends, welcome to this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! Thank you for the It's A Dog's Life Challenge Last week and I hope you will join us for this week's challenge too. This week our challenge is All A Buzz, and I have stuck to the traditional theme and created a card with a bee theme. To create my card, I cut the bee from the Sizzix Geo Insects set and embossed it with Distress Embossing Glaze in Hickory Smoke, Fossilized Amber and Rusty Hinge. I created a bunch of background papers using Distress Ink on Distress Mixed Media Heavystock and then cut them out with the Stacked Tiles Hexagons dies...I love that they come with so many sizes and so many multiples of each in one package.

I stamped all of the Hexagons using different background and floral stamps including Halftone and Rings, Flower Shop, Faded Type, and Mixed Media 1.
I stamped all of the Hexagons using different background and floral stamps including Halftone and Rings, Flower Shop, Faded Type, and Mixed Media 1.
To create my background, I made a panel of Mixed Media cardstock inked with Antique Linen Distress Ink and stamped with the Halftone Stamp. I adhered my bee to one of the light colored Hexagons, and then added the stamped and inked ones around it (all of them were popped up with foam tape for dimension). I added a Quote Chip with some Hardware Heads to finish the card.
The lovely folks at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a $25 voucher to shop at the Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take our your crafty supplies, make something following this week's prompt and add your project to the InLInkz at the bottom of the post on the SImon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog :) All winners are chosen randomly, so anyone can be a winner!!!

Super way to use the stacked tiles - looks fantastic on this card. I love the use of the Halftone stamp in the background - what a great choice!

What a wonderfully designed card! I love the honey colors and how you've made the geo bee the queen of the hexagon hive. Very inspiring!
