november countdown to confetti: day one | reverse confetti

Hi there crafty friends! I am so excited to be joining Reverse Confetti this month + next as a 'Fetti Friend, and super inspired by the newest release that is coming to you on November 8th! Today we are featuring three new sets Botanical, Home for the Holidays, Mixed Messages. For my card today, I have combined images from the Botanical and Mixed Messages sets. 

To create this card, I used the vase image from Botanical and colored it in with watercolors and cut it out with the coordinating dies. I cut a panel of kraft paper and stamped the sentiment from Mixed Messages and embossed it with white embossing powder. I added different colors of paint splatter to my background, then adhered the vase from the Botanical set that I colored previously. I matted the panel onto a piece of gold metallic cardstock, then onto a card made of kraft paper for a sweet and simple card.

simon says stamp: 25 days of christmas tags

Hi there crafty Thank you for joining us for the Movie Inspiration Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

For my tag this week, I kept it clean and simple. I wanted to use this gorgeous new Simon Says Stamp Geometric Christmas Tree Wafer die along with some inlaid die cutting. I added it to my tag with foam tape, and finished it with a Reverse Holiday Sentiment Strip and a few Studio Katia Clear Round Drops.
