Hi crafty friends, welcome to this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! Thank you for joining us us for last week's Happy Holidays Challenge and we hope you will join us again this week for our Food/Drink theme...this can be any kind of food and drink, but I am working on some holiday cards and treats this week and created a card to send out with a Starbucks gift card.
To create my card, I cut and assembled the deer from the Sizzix Papercut Christmas 2 dies, and colored in his scarf in a rainbow palette using Distress Markers. Then I cut the little coffee cup from the Festive Things dies. To create the background for this card, I stamped a sentiment from the Seasonal Scribbles stamp set in all of my favorite rainbow colors of Distress Oxides and smudged the inks with a blending tool. I added an overlay of vellum and stitched it to my colored panel. I also stamped the same sentiment and embossed it in white to use as the main greeting. I added the colored panel onto a card base and then adhered the deer and greeting with foam tape, and added a few snowflakes to complete it.
The lovely folks at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a $25 voucher to shop at the Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take our your crafty supplies, make something following this week's prompt and add your project to the InLInkz at the bottom of the post on the SImon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog :) All winners are chosen randomly, so anyone can be a winner!!!
So now it's YOUR turn, Happy Crafting
Yikes! That background!!!!! So very unique and so very YOU. Love every inch!
