simon says stamp monday challenge: remembrance/thinking of you

Hi crafty friends, welcome to this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! Thank you for joining us us for last week's 25 Tags of Christmas Challenge. This week our theme is Remembrance/Thinking of You and I have created a card to let a friend know I am thinking of her.

I wanted to go with a fall theme, so I used the Tim Hollz Sizzix Funky Foliage and Funky Wreath dies. I cut out the wreath and used it to create the shape of my wreath by adhering multicolor leaves out of Distress Watercolor cardstock that had been sprayed with Distress Mica Spray. To create the card, I stamped the background panel with the Tiny Text stamp using Frayed Burlap Distress Ink. Then I adhered the wreath to the panel and splattered the card with Distress Mica Spray in Tarnished Brass. I stamped the 'I Miss You' sentiment from the Crazy Talk set and attached it to the wreath.
