Hi crafty friends, welcome to this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! For my card this week, I am celebrating the arrival of Santa and created a background with lots of colorful DIstress Oxide stamping.

Hi crafty friends, welcome to this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! Thank you for joining us us for last week's Favorite Technique Challenge and we hope you will join us again for this weeks Ice Cold Challenge. This week I created a card with a technique from Nina-Marie Trapani where she made a laminated shaker card using Distress Mica Flakes. This technique gives such a beautiful look. 

To create my card, I used Nina's technique to create the 'shaker' and adhered it to a panel that I had stamped with different images from the Forest Floor stamp set. I covered it with the shaker filled with DIstress Mica Flakes to give it an 'icy' look, and then added a frame that I cut with the Simon Says Stamp Basic Rectangles die from Metallic Kraft Stock. To finish my card, I added a Gold embossed sentiment from Christmastime 3.

Hi there crafty friends! I am glad to be joining Reverse Confetti as a 'Fetti Friend in their December blog hop. You should have arrived here from the blog of the amazing Maria Willis...

I have created a card using the Home For the Holidays stamps and dies and a sentiment from the Seasonal Says It All. This card was inspired by a card I saw at Target, but I can not find a link to it anywhere to share with you! 

To create this card, I stamped and embossed the houses in white onto light blue cardstock, and then stamped the tree onto white cardstock. I stamped and embossed the sentiment from Seasonal Says It All in gold onto my card then began building my scene. I drew some snow on the the bottom of the card using a white gel pen. Then I took out my Gelly Roll moonlight pens and started doodling on the houses, coloring the doors and windows and adding a few details here and there. I adhered the houses and the tree with foam tape. Then I used a white Posca paint marker to make 'snow' by adding dots of different sizes.

Hi crafty friends, welcome to this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! Thank you for joining us us for last week's Alcohol Ink Challenge and we hope you will join us again this week for the Favorite Technique Challenge. This week the DT is using products from Paper Artsy, and I have tried out the In the Navy Infusions...can you believe I have never used these? And now I may need to stock up on some more, I had so much fun! 

To create this tag, I cut a tag from Distress White Heavystock. I colored it with the Infusions and let it dry. Once it was dry, I added Distress Opaque Matte Texture Paste through the Snowflakes stencil and let that dry. I added a Milk Cap, a Christmas Paper Doll that I colored with Distress Crayons, and a Christmas Token. 

To make the sentiment, I stamped and embossed a sentiment from the Christmas Tiny Text stamps in white, then went over it with some Fired Brick Distress Spray Stain and cut it out. To finish the tag, I added a few silver Metallic Droplets, a mist of Distress Mica Spray in Brushed Pewter and a splattering of 'snow' using Picket Fence DIstress Paint and a Distress Splatter Brush.

Today I have 2 cards to share with you. The first one features the new Hexagon Tiles dies and I was inspired by the ceramics of @quietclementine for my color palette. To create this card, I cut the 4 part Hexagon Tiles die out of several different colors of cardstock, and made my own 'dotted' cardstock by using the Altenew Many Dots Washi by adhering it to white paper and cutting it out. I arranged several of these hexagons onto a white cardstock panel and then finished the card with a CZ Design Reverse Happy Sentiment Strip. 

For my second card, I used the new CZ Design Friends die. I embossed a panel of Distress Watercolor Cardstock that had been inked with Distress Inks and dried using the Tumbled Hexagons Embossing Folder. Then I cut the panel using the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle dies. I cut a heart using the Nested Hearts dies and layered it onto my embossed panel then added the Friends die and a sentiment from the Let's Connect sentiment strips.

reverse confetti: december creative hop

simon says stamp monday challenge: favorite technique

Hi crafty friends, welcome to this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
