Hi crafty friends, welcome to this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! Thank you for joining us us for last week's Favorite Technique Challenge and we hope you will join us again for this weeks Ice Cold Challenge. This week I created a card with a technique from Nina-Marie Trapani where she made a laminated shaker card using Distress Mica Flakes. This technique gives such a beautiful look.
To create my card, I used Nina's technique to create the 'shaker' and adhered it to a panel that I had stamped with different images from the Forest Floor stamp set. I covered it with the shaker filled with DIstress Mica Flakes to give it an 'icy' look, and then added a frame that I cut with the Simon Says Stamp Basic Rectangles die from Metallic Kraft Stock. To finish my card, I added a Gold embossed sentiment from Christmastime 3.
