Hello crafty friends! It's time for another Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge...this week our theme is Resist It and I could not resist using the newest Distress Color, Kitsch Flamingo. This color is such a bright and intense pink. I loved playing with it this weekend and mixing it with so many other Distress colors. Today I have created a bright shiny focal point for my tag by using Kitsch Flamingo Distress Paint on the SIzzix Faceted Heart Die, then inking the edges with Black Soot Archival DIstress Ink once the paint is dry. I then sprayed it with DIstress Resist Spray and embossed it with the Kitsch Flamingo Distress Embossing Glaze.
To create this tag, I inked up the tag with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Spray Stain and let it dry, then I added some texture using Translucent Grit Paste and the Stampers Anonymous Plus stencil. Once the paste was dry, I added some more Distress Spray Stains in Kitsch Flamingo, Antique Linen and Black Soot. I like to spray this onto my craft mat and run my tag through it. Then I stitched around the tag.
I added some Typeset Collage Paper to the tag, along with some Ephemera from the Urban Layers pack. I adhered the Faceted Heart and then added a metal Numeric number and some Clippings stickers to finish my tag.
The lovely folks at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a $25 voucher to shop at the Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take our your crafty supplies, make something following this week's prompt and add your project to the InLInkz at the bottom of the post on the SImon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog :) All winners are chosen randomly, so anyone can be a winner!!!
So now it's YOUR turn, Happy Crafting
