Hello there crafty friends! So excited for the brand new Peace on Earth release from Simon Says Stamp today...So many great stamps, dies, stencils, embossing folders and more in this release for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Today I am sharing a quick and easy fall thank you card created with the Pumpkins stencil and some favorite fall colors of Tim Holtz Distress Oxides. To create this card, I cut a panel of Distress Watercolor cardstock, and used my Small Simon Says Stamp blending brushes to keep the ink inside the pumpkins as best as I could :) You can shop the PEACE ON EARTH Release HERE.
When I was done inking my panel, I used the Simon Says Stamp Chunky A2 Scallop dies to cut a panel. I gave the panel a few sprays of water (like a super fine mist) to activate the Oxides, then I inked the edges of the panel with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink. I used a bit of Crooked Broomstick Distress Mica Stain that I splattered on with a paintbrish. I added a CZ Design Thanks die cut (I cut 4 layers of the white to make it look super stacked) and then added a Gratitude Reverse sentiment strip to finish the card. Finally I mounted it onto a card cut from Paper Bag cardstock.
