I cut the Tim Holtz Colorize Thinlits Gladys and added her to a tag that had been sprayed and stenciled using the Stampers Anonymous Dotted Layering Stencil and some Distress Translucent Texture Paste and Distress Spray Stain in Salvaged Patina and Pumice Stone. Then I finished the card with a Small Talk Snarky sticker.

Today I decided to create a Mother's Day card using the Layered Mom with Frame Confetti Cuts along with the Sending Smiles stamps to make a bright daisy card. I finished it with a sentiment from the OMG sentiment set. This may not be the Mother's Day sentiment for every mom, but I know my mom will appreciate it :) She really is freaking amazing!

Keeping with my blog hop tradition, I have created three different looks for you featuring a bunch on new products, and all of them feature the Lines Background, designed by my crafty pal Miriam Prantner.
For the first card, I used the Lined Background and embossed it using Hero Arts White Satin Pearl embossing powder. Then I added some of the brand new Eucalyptus Stem Foil Plate and Dies which I foiled in gold and colored in with Copic Markers. I added a bit of gold splatter using Tim Holtz Distress Foundry Wax mixed with alcohol and a splatter brush. I finished the card with a sentiment from the XL Spring Greetings set that was embossed in gold.
For my second card, I went all out with the Lined Background and colored each line with my Karin markers, spritzed the colored stamp with a Distress Sprayer and then stamped it onto Distress Watercolor cardstock. I cut the panel using the Wonky Rectangles dies . To finish the card, I used a sentiment from the new Time to Party set, don't you just love that font? And I added three little embellishments made from the hat toppers in the Time to Party set to make it pop, I cut them from black card stock and went over them with a Wink of Stella pen.
I hope you enjoyed the three different looks for this new Lined Background stamp. Let me know which one is your favorite! The next stop on the hop is the amazing Yoonsun Hur!

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti April Creative Hop! You should have arrived here from the Reverse Confetti blog...Today I have a fun card for you using the Stitched Daisies Cover panel Confetti Cuts. I cut the panel from Distress Watercolor Cardstock, then I used my small Simon Says Stamp Blending Brushes along with a rainbow selection of Mini Distress Inks to blend a little circle of ink on top of each of the daises.
Next, I spritzed the panel lightly with water to make the inks move and give the panel a more artsy look. I dried the panel with a heat tool, then I added the Celebrate cut from the Celebrate Tag Confetti Cuts that I cut from black and white cardstocks. I also adhered a little sequin to the center of each daisy shape for some sparkle and shine.
The next stop on the hop is the incredible Audrey Tokach, be sure to head on over and see what she has created for you! I can't wait to hop around and see what everyone has made.
Hi there creative friends! Sharing a fun card with you today using the latest Tim Holtz Sizzix Chapter 2 release. This release is available and shipping from Simon Says Stamp now. I love the Bold Text sentiment dies and am so thrilled that we now have even more sentiments to choose from. For this card, I used the Bold Text 2 dies along with the Stacked Hearts from the Chapter 1 release. I cut the hearts from adhesive felt, and when I was putting them together, one got stuck and pulled the other and it reminded me a bit of felted wool and I loved the fuzzy texture. I took my Tim Holtz Tonic Craft Scratcher and just made all of the hearts fuzzy! It adds such a fun texture to the card.
To make the card, I used some Distress Spray Stains in Picked Raspberry, Spun Sugar and Victorian Velvet and inked up my panel. Once it was dry, I splattered it with Distress Paint in Black Soot. Then I dried the panel again with my heat tool. Once the panel was dry, I added the hearts that I cut from adhesive felt. Then I cut the Love with All Your Heart sentiment from the Bold Text 2 dies and also cut it out a few times from Black Kraft Stock and stacked them back in where I had cut out so the letters were raised. I added the panel to a mat of purple card stock and adhered it to a pink note card.
Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for playing along with us last week in the Recycle challenge and we hope you will join us again this week too :)
This week our challenge is Spring/Easter and the design team is using products from Paper Artsy. This week I used some Paper Artsy In the Navy Infusions. Just a quick sprinkle of color and a spray of water make it easy to create a background. I stamped and embossed the Stampers Anonymous Ledger Script and embossed it in white to add another layer of texture. I added some "spring flowers" using the new Tim Holtz Sizzix Artsy Stems. I love the look of these whimsical flowers and they are great for just about any type of project. For this one, I cut them from watercolor cardstock and added touches of metallic using Statue Foundry Wax to the tips of the flowers with a paintbrush, and also added some Foundry Wax splatter by adding a couple drops of isopropyl alcohol to the wax I had put out on my glass mat and using a Distress Splatter Brush. To finish my card, I added a Small Talk Sticker with an inspirational phrase.

Hi there crafty friends! I have a fun tutorial to share with you today on how to create this Tim Holtz Sizzix Stacked Hearts Vignette Display Panel. Thanks to all of you who reached out for more information on this project for your patience, it has been a very busy couple of months in my studio!
I created this project one evening very late into the night and let's just say there were hardly any process photos taken. I really wanted to make this project again to share with a friend, so I made another one that is almost identical and this time made a video for you of the process. This is the first video I have to share with you on my You Tube Channel, so please be gentle...the editing is not perfect. I am learning as I am going, but I think you will get the basics concepts of how to put this piece together.
If you are planning to recreate a panel like this, I would recommend breaking it down into steps. Cut the squares and hearts in one sitting, adhere the hearts and sentiment and cover the panel with the collage medium in the second sitting and take a break to let it dry completely, and then go back to add in all of your shading and color, which I think is the most fun part!
Let's start out with the supplies that I used to create this project:
Stabilo All Pencil (I got mine at Blick, comes in other colors too)
To begin, I took my Backdrops papers and went through them to pull out papers that were the colors of candy hearts. I picked a pink, orange, yellow, green, blue and and off white with some print on it as my 6th color. You will need 32 1 1/2 in Stacked Hearts squares to cover your panel. The Love You cut from the Bold Text 1 dies will take up the space of 4 squares.
I cut about 10 1.5 inch squares of each color. I cut extra so I had a choice of how much or little pattern (or text) was in each piece of paper and gave myself a variety of patterns to choose from when adhering all my squares down on the panel. Once I had all of my pieces cut out, I adhered them to the Vignette Display Panel. You can cut a piece of paper to the same size of the panel and lay out all of your colors in advance if that makes it easier for you.
Once you have everything set up, you will want to adhere all of your pieces to the panel with Distress Collage Medium. When you are done filling the panel, you will want to add a thin layer of the Distress Collage Medium over the entire panel. This will allow the Distress Crayons that we use in the next step to glide over the paper.
To add the color to my panel, I did a few things. First I went around the edges of each square with the Hickory Smoke DIstress Crayon. Then I used a damp finger to blend it all together. Then I added color to all the hearts and squares with different colors of Distress Crayons and blended them in as well. To really make the dark lines between the squares and the hearts contrast, I took my time and added Stabilo All Pencil in black around everything. Finally, I added splatter to the entire panel by scribbling my Distress Crayons onto my glass mat, spraying the pigments I scribbled out with water and then flicking it onto the panel. Be sure to add a piece of scrap paper over your sentiment before you do this! I hope this was helpful, and if you make a version of this project, I would love it if you shared and be sure to tag me @cheiron so I can see what you've made :)
