simon says stamp monday challenge: freezing cold mood board

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for playing along with us last week in the Fun with Foil challenge and we hope you will join us again this week too :) 

This week our challenge is to be inspired by the Freezing Cold Mood Board created by our teamie Zoey. I was inspired by the softer color palette! I used the Tim Holtz Tree Rings and Christmas Cutouts along with some Machinery Heads to bring this card together.

This week our challenge is Fun with Foil and I used some Nuvo Gilding Flakes over an Alcohol inked panel to create my bold holiday card. I added a sentiment using the CZ Design Merry Word die and some greenery from the Simon Says Stamp Berry Stems wafer dies. To make it extra sparkly, I added some Studio Katia Iridescent drops over ALL of the berries.

get cracking on christmas: november 2022

Hi there crafty friends! It's time for another month of Get Cracking on Christmas, a super fun challenge that my friend Jenn Shurkus hosts to get you working on your Christmas cards all throughout the year. It's the perfect time to play with all of those Christmas stamps, dies and other fun products I buy and never get around to using. I even have a separate bin that I have started to store my cards in, so when I need to start addressing them, they are all ready. That time will be here before we know it!

This month instead of making a batch of cards, I made one card for a special friend. I wanted to use the new Tim Holtz Sizzix Twig and Stump die set (how have I not used it yet!!!) to make a fun card for a pal with a fun saying. I cut most of the pieces out of my stash of Distress Mica Papers that I had created a while back. 

I hope you are building a nice stash of holiday cards. If you are not following me on Instagram, I would love it if you followed me over there. I will have lots more ideas for Christmas cards coming over the next month!
