simon says stamp monday challenge: things with wings

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for playing along with us last week in the Things With Wheels challenge and we hope you will join us again this week too :) 

This week our challenge is Things with Wings and I have used one of my all time favorite dies with Wings, the Tim Holtz Perspective Butterfly. I cut the Butterfly from Black Dura-Bright, then colored it with Alcohol Inks including Snow Cap Mixative, Fiesta, Sunshine Yellow and Valencia. I added just a bit of Gilded Alcohol Ink Alloy. 

For the base of the card I used Distress Black Heavystock and adhered the Butterfly to it using Distress Collage Medium then added Gilded Foundry Wax splatter by mixing a bit of splatter with some alcohol and splattering over the project with my paintbrush and heating it with my embossing gun when I was done. To finish, I added a Sentiment Label Sticker.

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for playing along with us last week in the Love Is in The Air challenge and we hope you will join us again this week too :) 

This week our challenge is FRAME IT and I created a fun tag with a Tim Holtz Photobooth photo that is FRAMED by Simon Says Stamp leaf diecuts - the Delicate Leafy Branch and the Etched Flower and Leaves dies. I created the tag base by layering some Typeset Collage Paper over a Distress Watercolor Cardstock tag, then I layered a tag that I had created with Alcohol Ink Clear Dura Lar over the Typeset tag to show off those colors. I stitched the tags together, added my Photobooth, a small talk sticker and some splatter with Black Soot Distress Paint and Gilded Foundry Wax. To finish the tag I added some letters cut from the Alphanumeric Emporium letters cut from Metallic Kraft Stock.

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for playing along with us last week in the Food and/or Drink challenge and we hope you will join us again this week too :) 

This week our challenge is Love is in the Air, and the design team is using Paper Artsy products. We would love if you used some too if you have them. I used my favorite Tim Holtz Heartfelt die along with Paper Artsy Infusions in Are You Cerise and Sunset Beach to create some fun shimmery hearts. I added them to a card and finished them with a sentiment from the Christmas Cutouts dies and a lot of splatter with Gilded Foundry Wax and black and white paints to make it even more fun.
