simon says stamp monday challenge: sun moon & stars

This week our challenge in Sun Moon and Stars and I have created a card with a fun galaxy background using the moon and stars from the Tim Holtz Sizzix Christmas Cutouts.

This week our challenge is Watercolor...and I played with my Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Pencils and the gorgeous Floral Trims stamp. I also used my Distress Watercolor Pencils shavings palette. I have a video on my You Tube Channel on how you can create a palette like this of your own!

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for playing along with us last week in the Inspired By Music challenge and we hope you will join us again this week too :) 

This week our challenge is Art Journal and I was able to play with the Back From the Vault Distress Paints and the new Tim Holtz Surface Media Mat to create this fun journal spread. I used some paints, gesso, stencils and stamps to create layers and then added a Photomatic photo, Salvaged Tag and a Snarky Small Talk Sticker to finish my spread. 

PAINT COLORS USED: Crushed Olive, Spun Sugar, Dried Marigold, Pumice Stone, Wild Honey, Tumbled Glass

simon says stamp monday challenge: inspired by music

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for playing along with us last week in the Paint It challenge and we hope you will join us again this week too :) 

This week our challenge is Inspired by Music and my tag is inspired by the Taylor Swift song Lavender Haze. I created a fun mixed media tag with all the Distress Purples to create this fun Mixed Media Tag. I applied layers of paint, spray and lots of stamping on the dried layers with Distress Archival Ink. I finished my tag with some ephemera, a photobooth photo and stitching.

simon says stamp monday challenge: let's paint

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for playing along with us last week in the Make Your Mark challenge and we hope you will join us again this week too :) 

This week our challenge is Paint It and we are challenging you to play with paint. The design team is also using products from Dylusions, and although not a requirement, we would love it if you used some too :) 

This week I made a mixed media background complete with paints, sprays and stencils. I used the Dylusions Rose Quartz Spray, Cracked Pistachio, Wild Honey and Crackling Campfire paints and gesso along with stencils and stamps to create my painty background.
