simon says stamp monday challenge: architecture/buildings

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for playing along with us last week in the  challenge and we hope you will join us again this week too :) 

This week our challenge is Architecture/Buildings and I have created a fun card using the buildings and clouds from the Christmas Cutouts dies. I cut all of the pieces out of Distress Watercolor Cardstock and lightly ink blended the buildings in a rainbow of Distress Inks and also added a little color to the clouds. I stamped the sentiment from the Tim Holtz Stampers Anonymous Life Quotes stamps in Black Soot Distress Archival Ink, then arranged all of my pieces around it, popping up some of the houses and clouds with foam adhesive. Once the panel was created, I added foam adhesive to the back of it and adhered it to a card base.

simon says monday challenge: we can see clearly

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for playing along with us last week in the  challenge and we hope you will join us again this week too :) 

This week our challenge is we can see clearly and I have created a fun mixed media tag using layers of Distress Paint, Gesso and Distress Spray Stains. I added a big moth from Transparent Layers along Palette Ephemera and Organic Layers. To finish my tag, I added a small talk sticker.

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for playing along with us last week in the challenge and we hope you will join us again this week too :) 

This week our challenge is Transport It and I am wishing I could transport myself back to my Caribbean vacation. We were able to take a fun glass bottom boat tour to see all kinds of amazing coral and fish!  I used so many of my favorite Tim Holtz dies including Wacky Transport, Under the Sea Colorize and a bit of greenery.

simon says stamp monday challenge: we're going around in circles

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for playing along with us last week in the challenge and we hope you will join us again this week too :) 

This week our challenge is going around in Circles and I've used the new Circle Hoops Embossing Folder from the latest Simon Says Stamp Out of this World release...I embossed the folder then used my Distress Spray Stains and Distress Mica Stains to "paint" in the circles using a paint brush. Once the panel was dry, I added Distress Foundry Wax over the high points that were raised up to give it tons of shine!
