Hi crafty friends, welcome to this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! Thank you for joining us us for last week's Oodles of Doodles Challenge and this week we are inviting you to Use Your Favorite Stamp...

I am sure you all know that STAMPtember® is a very special month in the Simon Says Stamp Store calendar and this week we are asking you to use your favorite stamp, no digi images allowed.

Today I am using what is sure to be a new favorite set of mine from the Stamptember release, the Simon Says Stamp/CZ Design Halloween People. I paired this set with the new Fractured background that I embossed in white and inked it up in Crackling Campfire, Wilted Violet and Black Soot Distress Inks and spritzed it with water to give it a spooky vibe. I added a Tim Holtz Idea-ology Halloween Paper Doll and a Bitty Bat and some Soft Black Pearls from Lucy's Cards to finish my card.

Today I have made a few different cards for you. I love playing around with different styles of cards using new products. For my 3 cards today, I have used the new CZ Design Extra Large Congrats on all of my cards in 3 different ways.

For the first card, I combined the Extra Large Congrats with a graduation cap patterned background that I stamped using the caps from the Hats off Grad set. I stamped the caps in a pattern with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink and then outlined them with a Cool Grey 2 Copic Marker. I cut the words out with white cardstock and Simon Says Stamp Black Glitter Cardstock. Super easy!

For the second card, I used the tulip background to make a more generic Congrats card by embossing the Tulip Background with gold embossing powder and coloring them in with watercolors from the Prima Pastel Dreams watercolor set. I cut the Extra Large Congrats from white and Gold Glitter cardstock on this one to give it a more elegant look.

I couldn't NOT make a rainbow card. For this card I paired the Extra Large Congrats with a rainbow background. To make this background, I created a rainbow panel with some Distress Oxide Blending in all my favorite rainbow colors, then stamped over it with the Diagonal Stripes background. For this card, I cut the sentiment out of black and white cardstock.

simon says stamp: united we craft blog party

Hi there crafty friends! I hope you are all staying safe and healthy at home. If you have been going to work during this time, I'd like to send special thoughts out for your safety, and know you are appreciated.

Today I am thrilled to join a bunch of wonderful designers for a United We Craft party at Simon Says Stamp. Although Simon Says Stamp is unable to ship at the moment, you can support them by filling up your carts and wish lists so that when we get through this, your order is ready to go.

As you may have seen on social media and in the graphic above, we are using the #sssunitedwecraft hashtag to show the ways we are all crafting and staying involved in our crafty community during quarantine. We would love for you to share what you are creating or even share photos with you and your family creating—your kids, your significant other, your pets, or anyone else in your house OR photos of Zoom craft sessions or Instagram story parties that you are having with your creative friends.

I have a little happy mail inspiration for you. I have been spending a lot of my crafty time making cards for friends and family, and sending out a ton of happy mail. What better way to send a smile than to include a rainbow in the envelope. I have 3! rainbow card ideas to share with you today. For these cards, I pulled out some Simon Says Stamp exclusives from previous releases (but all still available for purchase) that I hope will give you some ideas for your own creations.

The first card uses the Good Vibes die along with the Plank Background watercolored in a rainbow of colors....

My second card uses the Triangle Element die (also watercolored in a rainbow of colors) and finished with an All Things Happy Sentiment Strip.

And the final card uses a rainbow painted Clustered Leaves die cut over a stamped You Matter Background along with the Miss You die.

simon says stamp monday challenge: floral frenzy

Hi crafty friends, welcome to this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! Thank you to all of you who played along with us last week in our All Loved Up Challenge and I hope you will join us again this week. This week our theme is Floral Frenzy and the design team is using products from Prima and I hope you all will give this challenge a try and share your creation with us :) For my card this week, I used the new Tim Holtz/Sizzix Bouquet die and colored it in with the Bright Colors from the Prima Pastel Dreams watercolor set (and the black from the Classics set).

I loosely colored areas on the back panel with all of the warm colors, then when it was dry adhered the die cut panel and colored the same colors on top of it, leaving a bit of white space. When that was dry, I went back in and carefully colored in the flower centers with the black watercolor from the Classics set.

Once the entire panel was dry, I die cut the CZ Design Miss You die and assembled it and I also cut a base out of white craft foam for dimension and adhered it behind the die before adding to the card. I added a skinny sentiment strip with a sentiment from the CZ Design Like You set to complete the card.
