Today I have 3 different cards for you using the brand new Pointed Evergreens dies. For these 3 cards, I achieved totally different looks for each by varying the papers I used to cut the Pointed Evergreens for each card.

For my first card, I kept it traditional by using a piece of paper that I colored with green Distress Paints. Once they were dry, I cut the Pointed Evergreens from them and then added some Texture Paste to the edges of parts of the trees using a palette knife and a little Rock Candy Distress Glitter. Once the glitter was dry, I adhered the trees to a white panel and then added a simple black sentiment. For the background, I used the Christmas Star cling stamp along with Simon's Pawsitively Saturated Ink in Cappuccino for a tone on tone look. To finish the card I added a sentiment from the CZ Design Clean Line Christmas set.

For my second card, I wanted something fun and sparkly for the season, this time I used some of the new Simon Luxe Glitter cardstock in black...isn't it just so lovely?!? I cut the Pointed Evergreens from the black glitter cardstock, added a few tiny stars cut from the Magic Stars Wafer dies to the top of them and a sentiment from the Ornamental Christmas stamp set embossed in gold.

For my third card, I cut into one of my "rainbow" experiment papers that I made with Distress Watercolor Pencils and cut out the Pointed Evergreens and combined it with some bright yellow cardstock. For the sentiment, I stamped a simple Joy from the CZ Design Let's Make a Tag set.

simon says stamp: DieCember 2021!

Hi there crafty friends! Happy DIeCember...it's the most wonderful time of the year indeed 🎄 I am thrilled to share a card with you featuring the new Vine Background die.

I used this die to create a simple holiday card by cutting the Vine Background out several times and then inlaying the leaves cut from Simon Says Stamp Glitter Cardstock in Emerald and Pine Glitter. I added a From All of Us Reverse Sentiment Strip and a few red gemstones to complete it. Don't forget to save the leaves you didn't use for a second card 😉⁠ Shop the new release HERE.

Today I have 2 cards to share with you. The first one features the new Hexagon Tiles dies and I was inspired by the ceramics of @quietclementine for my color palette. To create this card, I cut the 4 part Hexagon Tiles die out of several different colors of cardstock, and made my own 'dotted' cardstock by using the Altenew Many Dots Washi by adhering it to white paper and cutting it out. I arranged several of these hexagons onto a white cardstock panel and then finished the card with a CZ Design Reverse Happy Sentiment Strip.

For my second card, I used the new CZ Design Friends die. I embossed a panel of Distress Watercolor Cardstock that had been inked with Distress Inks and dried using the Tumbled Hexagons Embossing Folder. Then I cut the panel using the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle dies. I cut a heart using the Nested Hearts dies and layered it onto my embossed panel then added the Friends die and a sentiment from the Let's Connect sentiment strips.
