Hi crafty friends, it's time for another challenge over one the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us in the All Things Pink Challenge last week and we hope you will join us this week too. 

 

This week our challenge is Spooky and for this week's challenge I have created a spooky vignette tray using all kinds of Tim Holtz Halloween Idea-ology goodness. I took a Vignette Tray and added Halloween Collage Paper to the inside using Distress Collage Medium. I used one of the pieces from the Layers and Baseboard Frames pack along with a Halloween Paper Doll to create my focal image. 

I added some stickers from the Curiosities Sticker Book and a Halloween Quote Chip along with two Hardware Heads to make it look secured to the piece. 


Then I added lots of creepy goodness to the bottom of the tray including a Creepy Eye in a Corked Dome, a Zombie hand and a gravestone from the Cryptic pack and a jar of Wishbones.

Hi crafty friends, it's time for another challenge over one the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us in the Get Ready for Christmas Challenge and we hope you will join us this week too. 

 

This week our challenge is Fall/Autumn and there is nothing more fall to me than pumpkin! I love everything pumpkin - pie, cake, muffins, donuts...I would eat it all. For this week's challenge I have created a Mini Etcetera Tag to celebrate the month of October, complete with pumpkins :) 


To create this project, I started by covering a Mini Tim Holtz Etcetera Tag with a piece of Worn Wallpaper using Matte Collage Medium.  Then I added some texture using Ranger Texture Paste through the Stitches Layering Stencil. When the paste was dry, I went over the raised areas with a Walnut Stain Distress Crayon. I went over the color and rubbed it in with my fingers. I painted the Vignette Frame with Hickory Smoke Distress Paint and then added a bit of Rusty Hinge. I painted the Pinked Trims which would become the shelves with Antique Linen Distress Paint. When everything was dry, I added the ephemera, the frame and the shelf to the tag. I adhered hardware heads to the shelf to make it appear attached. Once all the parts were attached with Distress Collage Medium, I added the Pumpkin Pieces and the Moss to the shelf.

Hi crafty friends, it's time for another challenge over one the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us in last week's Midsummer Blues Challenge and we hope you will join us in this week's Artist Trading Cards Challenge. This week I created a trio of ATCs using the new Abandoned Paper Stash as my background, I am in LOVE with this paper and it is perfect to add a wonderful, quick background. 

I added a Paper Doll, some stickers from the Curiosities Sticker Book, ephemera and a Halloween Quote Chip secured with Hardware Heads to each one. Then I used my tweezers to add a tiny Halloween mask cut from the Tim Holtz/Sizzix Thinlits Masquerade dies (I used the 2 smallest dies).

simon says stamp monday challenge: midsummer blues

Hi crafty friends, it's time for another challenge over one the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us in last week's Happy Birthday Challenge and I hope you will join us in this week's Midsummer Blues Challenge. This week I created a Mini Etcetera Tag using the new Abandoned Paper Stash as my tag background and selected a piece with a lot of beautiful greenish blue, which I wound up covering up a lot! This paper is so beautiful, it practically creates any background for you! 

 

 

I put the paper onto the tag with Distress Collage Medium, and once that was adhered, I added Opaque Crackle Texture Paste through a stencil and let it dry. Then I went over it with an ink blending tool. I built my "shelf" out of the Pinked and Scalloped Etcetera trims and added some Hardware Heads to it so it looks like it is fastened to the tag. I added a Baseboard Doll that had been colored with Distress Markers and had some Transparent Wings adhered to the back of it. I nestled the doll onto the shelf with Mummy Cloth that was colored with Distress Spray stain and a bunch of stars cut from inky Distress Watercolor paper using the Swirling Stars Thinlits die. 

I finished off the tag with the Quote Chip that says "Use Your Wings" and added a clippings sticker and a Vintage Clip to the top which I distressed to give it a bit of a rusty look.

Hi crafty friends, it's time for another challenge over one the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us in last week's Frightful Things Challenge and I hope you will join in the fun this week for the Not A Card Challenge. This week I have created a Tim Holtz Vignette Tray using a Watercolor Galaxy Background that I created. I added a few layers to the tray, including a Salvaged Baseboard, some Ephemera, a Photo Booth photo and a Quote Chip. 


I finished off the outside of the tray with some Idea-ology Design Tape, then I filled in the entire tray with shiny stars cut from the Radiant die from Metallic Kraft Stock and Swirling Stars dies that were cut from Distress Watercolor card stock that was painted with a wash of gold watercolor. 


So much sparkle and shine on this one and I love the contrast between the dark sky and the gold!

Hi crafty friends, it's time for another challenge over one the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us in last week's Frame It Challenge and I hope you will join us again this week too! This week our challenge is Wedding/Anniversary and I've created a fun tag to celebrate an Anniversary with lots of fun ephemera. 

I've created my tag this week using a background paper from the Altenew Pastel Dreams Paper Pack cut with the Tim Holtz Sizzix Stacked Tags dies. I have layered the tag with a picture from Photo Booth, Ephemera from, a Tiny Text Remnant Rub on a Classic Label and finished it with a Prima Sunset Beach Golden Coast Flower and a spattering of Tonic Midas Touch Aqua Shimmer Pen.

Hi crafty friends, it's time for another challenge over one the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us in last week's Stencil It Challenge and I hope you will join us again this week too! This week our challenge is Frame It and I've used a Tim Holts Idea-ology Lace Baseboard Frame to frame my Found Relative as the focal point for my Mini Etcetera Tag. 

 

I covered the tag with a piece of Worn Wallpaper using Ranger Collage Medium, then inked the edges with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink. Once that was done, I added the piece of Crochet then added my Found Relative behind the Lace Baseboard Frame. I topped it with some different Ephemera and a Quote Chip. 


To finish the tag, I added some Clippings stickers, a Story Stick and a Vintage Clip to the top that I had colored with Pebble alcohol ink.

simon says stamp monday challenge: going around in circles

Hi crafty friends, it's time for another challenge over one the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. Thank you for joining us in last week's Challenge and I hope you will join us again this week too! This week our challenge is Going Around in Circles and I've used one of my favorite Tim Holtz backgrounds to make this fun and colorful card. 


To create this background, I laid the stamp flat on my table and colored each ring with a different color marker. When they were all colored in, I gave the stamp a light spritz (maybe 3-4 sprays) from six inches away and then pressed the smooth side of my watercolor paper onto the stamp. I love how crisp and vibrant the rings came out!
