It's Day 4 of the Neat and Tangled release and you know what that means...just one more day until all these awesome stamps are available in the store!!! Today I am featuring this Classic Tag 2 die which I am sure is going to become a staple in my card making:
Today I've created a trio of painted tags for you...these are always fun to have on hand. They are super easy to adhere to a card or even tie onto a bottle of something :)
Hope you will head over to the Neat and Tangled blog to check out all of the design team inspiration and have a look at another new product that is being featured today. Thank you for all your sweet comments during the week, I truly appreciate them!

Finally popping in to share samples of some of the projects I created for the Tim Holtz/Sizzix booth. You can see a video of the booth and Tim showing my house project around the 5:25 minute mark and my cards around the 7:06 minute mark here:
The first, and probably one of my favorites...these rainbow colored Tiny Houses. These were made by constructing the tiny houses out of chipboard, then covering them with watercolor paper that had been dipped into drops of Distress Spray stain. Lots of stitching and stars to add contrast and roofs made of corrugated textured surfaces painted black. Those beautiful bold Broadway letters are also new. I think I'll be using them a lot on some other projects.
I also worked with 2 new texture fades to create some cards. The first is with the Roses texture fade, and I created a background with lots of Distress Crayon:
I also created a shaker card using the Flourish texture fade...I think it would be perfect for a wedding.
Hope you enjoyed these pics of my work! Thank you to Tim and Paula for having me (again)! It is always such a pleasure to create with your products, especially new ones.
All of these items are linked below and the new items are available for pre-order at Simon Says Stamp now :)

This week the theme for the challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog is Flora and Fauna. Definition: Flora is plant life; fauna refers to animals. The handiest way to remember flora and fauna is that "flora" sounds like flowers, which are part of the plant world, and fauna sounds like "fawn," and fawns are part of the animal kingdom.
This week to create my canvas I used some Mixed Media Board, painted with Twisted Citron and Mermaid Lagoon Paints. I added some texture paste using the Mini Layering 8 stencils, and removed some of the Mermaid Lagoon paint using the Mini Layering 4 stencils. Some stamping in black soot Distress paint with the Halftone and Rings stamps. Then I layered on the Wildflowers and Butterfly Frenzy dies and added some more layers using Distress Crayons. See links to all supplies below.

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge
Thank you for joining us for the Use Patterned Papers Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.
This week the challenge is TIC TAC TOE and lovely Maura Hibbitts has made this fabulous grid for us to use! Choose a line and use the 3 items in that line, you can also choose a full house option if you're feeling adventurous!
As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $50 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store.
I decided to break out Tim's Crazy Cats this week to create a fun tag. I created the base of my page with Distress Spray Stains in Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers. I "stamped" onto my tag using a stencil from the Mini Stencil Set 7 using Blueprint Sketch Distress Spray Stain. I added some Crazy Things (tie and sunnies) and a Numbers remnant rub and a quote band colored in with a picket fence Distress Crayon then tied on with linen ribbon.

This week the theme for the challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog is Emboss It! Use embossing powder, embossing folders or even embossing paste :)
For my project this week, I used the Ornate Frame 2 Sizzix Die to highlight my stamped image from the Tim Holtz Evolution set. I stamped my image and placed the frame where I wanted it to be then, traced a pencil line inside the framed area and painted over the area outside the line with Distress Collage Crazing medium. I then colored over the crazing with Distress Crayons and rubbed them in with my fingers. I embossed the frame with Ranger Black Embossing Powder and also went over the frame with Distress Crayons for some colorful texture.

This week the theme for the challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog is Home Decor and the design team is using Prima products. This week I created a burlap panel with embellishments. I am working on setting up a new craft room and wanted to make a piece using the Tim Holtz Mosaic die. I cut out a bunch of mosaics and painted them, and added different collage papers, a curio knob, a salvaged doll, and a philosophy tag. I used some Prima Licorice Art Ingredients to give my project a little added texture.
