reverse confetti: july 2022 release hop

Hi there crafty friends! I am thrilled to be joining Reverse Confetti in a blog hop today to celebrate their newest release.This release is available now and features flowers, foiling and furry friends of the canine variety! There is a little something for everyone. Today I have used the Dog Days stamps along with the Dog Days sentiments to make a fun summer card for a friend.

I created a slightly shorter slimline card to accommodate this row of pups having fun in the sun and combined the sentiments to make one long greeting. This card would be fun for any dog lover on your list!

reverse confetti: may release birthday hop

I am thrilled to be joining Reverse Confetti once again this month to celebrate their awesome May - 9th Birthday release! The entire release is available to purchase now, and there is one very special item that I wanted to bring your attention to - a very special stamp and die set this month, Love Wins. A portion of the sales from this set will be donated to the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and The Trevor Project.

Today I have created a fun card for a purple loving friend featuring the new Roses stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts, paired with the new Friend Confetti Cuts. I also added the Brillance Panel and used the frame that came with the Roses Confetti cuts to cut it out and add a bit more texture. Once my image was colored, I added it to the card and added some Distress Foundry Wax in Gilded. I stamped and embossed the sentiment in gold to match and added a few black pearls to finish my card.

reverse confetti: april stock your stash challenge (moms, dads and grads!)

Hello there crafty friends! Today I am playing along with this month's Stock Your Stash Challenge from Reverse Confetti and the theme is Moms, Dads and Grads. I decided to get a head start on my Mother's Day card making.... Today I decided to create a Mother's Day card using the Layered Mom with Frame Confetti Cuts along with the Sending Smiles stamps to make a bright daisy card. I finished it with a sentiment from the OMG sentiment set. This may not be the Mother's Day sentiment for every mom, but I know my mom will appreciate it :) She really is freaking amazing!

reverse confetti: april creative hop

Welcome to the Reverse Confetti April Creative Hop! You should have arrived here from the Reverse Confetti blog...Today I have a fun card for you using the Stitched Daisies Cover panel Confetti Cuts. I cut the panel from Distress Watercolor Cardstock, then I used my small Simon Says Stamp Blending Brushes along with a rainbow selection of Mini Distress Inks to blend a little circle of ink on top of each of the daises.

Next, I spritzed the panel lightly with water to make the inks move and give the panel a more artsy look. I dried the panel with a heat tool, then I added the Celebrate cut from the Celebrate Tag Confetti Cuts that I cut from black and white cardstocks. I also adhered a little sequin to the center of each daisy shape for some sparkle and shine.

simon says stamp monday challenge: bright and cheerful

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for playing along with us last week in the Feminine challenge and we hope you will join us again this week too :) This week our challenge is Bright and Cheerful and I have made a quick and easy card with watercoloring and Distress Reinkers using one of my favorite new stamp sets from Reverse Confetti...Friendly Florals.

This card was so easy to create! Just stamp the florals on either corner of your card in waterproof ink, I used Distress Archival in Black Soot and then stamp the sentiment as well in the same ink. I loosely colored the florals by dropping dots of Distress Ink Reinkers onto my Tim Holtz Glass Media Mat and picking them up with a Detailer Waterbrush. When the panel was dry (you could use a heat tool) I splattered the card with a little Black Soot Distress Paint.

reverse confetti: march stock your stash challenge

Hi there creative friends! It's time for the monthly Reverse Confetti Stock Your Stash Challenge and this month's card making theme is Easter/Spring. I have a fun card to share with you combining a bunch of new March release products.

I've used:

Picnic Pals stamps and Confetti Cuts
Better With Friends stamps and Confetti Cuts
Layered Mom with Frame Confetti Cuts
Stitched Daisies

I have combined images and critters from Picnic Pals and Better with Friends sets to create a little scene with a background of Stitched Daises, framed by the Layered Mom with Frame Confetti Cuts. All of my images got a quick Copic coloring and were adhered to the card (as well as the frame) with foam adhesive. I left the sentiment off the card, and will add it to my stash until I need it for a specific occasion!

Hello creative friends and welcome to the Reverse Confetti March release Blog Hop! I hope you have been able to follow along and see all the great spring release products that are available to buy TODAY!!!

Today I have a card for you featuring:

Easter Cover Panel
Eggstra Cover Panel

I used the Eggstra Cover panel in white as my background, and combined it with the Easter Cover Panel. I cut the eggs from Yupo Paper that I had inked with Alcohol Inks and then created little daises with glitter paper and added a bold Happy Easter to my card with black cardstock.

reverse confetti march 2022 release: day three

Hi there creative friends! I am thrilled to be joining Reverse Confetti for the month of March and April as a 'Fetti Friend. Today I am thrilled to give you a sneak peek at some of the brand new stamps and dies that will be available on March 8th!

Today we are featuring:

Better With Friends
Picnic Pals

Today I used some of the adorable bunnies from the Better with Friends set along with the Big Egg die. I cut the die out from white cardstock and layered three of them to give the insides a bit of depth. I added glossy accents to the 'channels' between each part of the egg and then added seed beads in all the pastel colors of the rainbow. I added two of the bunnies (with just a hint of Copic coloring) and a sentiment from the Better with Friends set to finish my card. It could not be simpler, and the seed beads that have been sitting in my stash add a wonderful texture...

reverse confetti march 2022 release: day two

Today we are featuring:

Friendly Florals

To create this card was simple, I blended Distress Inks in Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon onto a piece of Distress watercolor cardstock and then added some gold and blue splatter. Once the panel was dry, I stamped the thank you for being a friend sentiment and embossed it in gold. I also stamped and embossed several flowers from this set in gold and colored them in loosely with Saltwater Taffy and Mowed Lawn Distress reinkers and a detailer waterbrush and added them to the card with foam tape to frame the sentiment.

reverse confetti march 2022 release: day one

Today we are featuring:

Sending Smiles (Stamps and dies)
Springtime Sentiments

I am also using:

Egg Carton (part of the new release)
Stitched Daises Cover Panel
Brilliance Cover Plate die

I have two very 'eggciting' cards for you today combining the Springtime Sentiments and the new Egg Carton die for two different looks. The first one I created by cutting the egg carton from Kraft paper, inking the edges and adding some 'dyed' eggs that I colored with Alcohol Ink for a friend that is very egg-stra indeed. I placed the carton onto the Brilliance Cover Panel that I had stamped with one of the Springtime Sentiments.

For the second card, I kept it more traditional and combined a piece of plaid paper from the Hello Holidays Paper pad along with eggs cut from a speckled cardstock in a blue carton. I added a sentiment from the Springtime Sentiments stamped directly on the Stitched Daises panel.
