This year I was thrilled when I saw this set that is perfect for creating so many fun projects. I combined the stamps and sentiments with some of my other favorite Tim Holtz products and created some fun cards using this set to share with you today! And the best surprise of all there are matching dies!
Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for playing along with us last week in the challenge and we hope you will join us again this week too :)
This week our challenge is What's Your Favorite color? You know I love them all, so I created a project in a pinkish palette of fall colors that I am loving right now. I used the Simon Says Stamp Artsy Pumpkins, along with the Arched French Doors as my focal point. I stamped the pumpkins in Simon Says Stamp Inks using Citrine, Cheeky and Guava. I also ink blended a panel of cardstock with these same colors, cut it out with the Nested Domed Arches and then put it behind my door with a piece of vellum over it to soften the colors. Then I placed the window and pumpkins on top of a panel embossed with the Vines embossing folder for some texture.

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for playing along with us last week in the Mixed Media challenge and we hope you will join us again this week too :)
This week our challenge is Stamp It and the design team is using products from Simon Says Stamp in order to celebrate STAMPtember! This week our challenge is to use a stamp...and I have saved the stamping for the inside of my card, because who would want to cover up those Etched Oak Leaves?
I combined some Distress Ink Etched Oak Leaves inked with my favorite fall colors of Distress inks with the Handwritten Hello cut from Tim Holtz Metallic Kraftstock. I foam taped all the leaves to the panel, turned it over and trimmed off the edges and then added a splattering of Distress Foundry Wax then heat set it for some more interest.

Hello crafty friends! I am so excited that STAMPtember®️ is finally here! If you are not sure what this is, Simon Says Stamp has a month long celebration each September where they do an awesome Simon Says Stamp branded product release at the start of the month and then also feature EXCLUSIVE collaborations from some of your favorite stamp companies all month long. Different stamps are released through out the month, and once these exclusive collaborations are gone, they are gone...so get them while you can! Head on over to the Simon Says Stamp Blog today to see all of the Simon Says Stamp designers and friends that are joining the party with some very special creations!
My tradition for the past few new releases is to take a product and show it used 3 different ways, being that it's STAMPtember®️ and all, I have one stamp that I have used 4 different ways to share with you. Before we get to that, let me point out the graphic below that gives you a code for a FREE gift with purchase...the code is valid until 9/4 at 11:59pm or while supplies last.
For my final card, I embossed the Overlapping Drops in clear, and colored them in using Karin Metallic Markers and added just a bit of splatter to make it more fun.
Hi there crafty friends! I am delighted to share some crafty fun with you today using the Simon Says Stamp Creepy Craft kit. This kit is packed full of Tim Holtz Halloween and Fall goodies for you to get your creep on. I have a few different projects to share with you today using some of these fun goodies. I created 3 different projects using almost all the supplies in the kit.
The first project I created from the kit uses the grapevine wreath. I wanted something fairly simple. I took the pack of leaves (available in the kit only) and sprayed them all with the Black Soot Distress Oxide spray and let them dry. Then I added them to one side of the wreath using the bottle of Ranger Matte Medium. I created a bow out of the Halloween Collage Paper and then cut a circle from the Metallic Paper to add my Halloween Words token. I used an Antique Linen DIstress Crayon from my stash to color over the words. I added a tiny spider to the top of the wreath and one of the Paper Dolls 'holding' the broomstick.
My second project is a Halloween card that couldn't be any easier. I cut the metallic paper and ran it through an embossing folder to give it added texture. This Triangle Burst Embossing folder is not included in the kit, but you could use any embossing folder you have on hand! I added a paper doll using the Ranger Matte Medium, then tied one of the bands from the Halloween words using jute twine.
For the final project, a super creepy tag. For this one, I used the Ranger Matte Medium to apply a piece of the torn Halloween Collage Paper. Then I sprayed the tag with the Black Soot Distress Oxide Spray. Once that was dry, I added some texture with the Grave texture paste and added a skull to the tag along with a creepy paper doll. I tied jute through the top of the tag and included a word band from the Halloween Words Adornments. What do you do with a tag? You can turn it into a card, or even just tie it to a bottle of wine to bring to a Halloween Gathering! Hope you enjoyed these projects and if you'd like a creepy craft kit, I would place my order now as supplies are limited!
Hi there crafty friends! It's the most wonderful time of the year...the Tim Holtz Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember®️ set is here. Tim showed this amazing set on his You Tube live today and you can go back and watch it to see all the details. So many fun elements in this set and I have created 3 cards to share with you today.
The first card is super traditional and uses the stamp set and moon mask, along with the Santa Sleigh and trees. I created this card by stamping the sleigh, masking it off and then adding the moon mask over it. I also masked off the tops of the trees before creating my inky background of Chipped Sapphire, Prize Ribbon and Black Soot Distress Inks. I also added gold and white splatter over the entire sky area and let it dry completely before removing all the masks. Once the masks were removed I painted in my sleigh and trees. When they were dry, I stamped the sentiment and embossed it white.
For the second card, I put the moon mask onto my panel then I applied Distress Inks in Mustard Seed, Seedless Preserves, Broken China, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire. I removed the mask and spritzed the panel with water to let the inks blend around. I also added some white splatter to the card to mimic a galaxy background. When the background was thoroughly dry, I embossed the stars in gold, and the sentiment from the Stamptember set in black. I added some white splatter to finish it.
For my final card I just stamped the trees from the stamp set in Distress Archival Ink, and then colored the trees in a rainbow of my favorite Distress Inks...
Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the Glimmer and Sparkle Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too. This week we are challenging you to: Stamp ItI am sure you all know that STAMPtember® is a very special month in the Simon Says Stamp Store calendar and this week we are asking you to use a stamp, no digi images allowed.
We are showcasing the latest STAMPtember® products and although you probably don’t have these supplies yet we would like you to use Simon’s Exclusive Products if you have them. This isn’t necessary to join in with the challenge but we would appreciate it.
This week I am mixing up a brand new stamp set designed by my crafty friend Miriam Prantner, that was released for STAMPtember® called Raindrops. This set is full of mix and match drops, that you can stamp and layer and also has wonderful sentiments to create the perfect card. I paired it with some brand new Holiday Distress Products from Tim Holtz. I created the stormy background on my card using the new Distress Holiday Mica Stain Set 1 and Set 2 combining the Snow Flurries and Frosted Juniper sprays.
I added a few layers of sprays onto a piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock, drying in between and then stamped the drops from the Raindrops set using Distress Archival Inks in Mermaid Lagoon, Faded Jeans and Hickory Smoke. I inked the edges of the panel with Hickory Smoke Distress Ink. To create the umbrella from The Gent Sizzix dies, I cut it twice from black cardstock and cut it again from one of the papers from Halloween Backdrops. It is a bit hard to see in the photo, but there is some print on the paper.
I then cut out just the umbrella part and embossed it with Crackling Campfire DIstress Embossing Glaze. I glued the partition of the umbrella die on top of that. Once all the layers of the umbrella were glued together, I added it to my panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Raindrops set and inked the edges with the Hickory Smoke Distress Ink. I added the sentiment over the umbrella with foam tape. To complete the card, I foam taped the panel to an A2 notecard.

Of course I have done one of my favorite things and created 3 cards to show how I use one stamp in 3 different ways. I like to share a few ideas, and hopefully there is something for everyone. Let me know in the comments which one you like the best! For these cards, I used the O Christmas Tree Cling stamp.
For my first card, I stamped and embossed the Oh Christmas Tree cling stamp in white, then did some ink blending over the stamp in rainbow colors. I always love to send a rainbow Christmas card, it's so fun and unexpected. I combined my inky panel with the CZ Design Chunky Joy sentiment by cutting it in black and white to make that rainbow really pop!
For my second card, I went a more traditional route and stamped and embossed the Oh Christmas Tree cling in gold onto a panel of Soft Navy cardstock. I love this combo for hoilday cards. I added a simple stamped sentiment strip from the CZ Design Ornamental Christmas stamps.
For the 3rd card, I went for a modern and colorful approach. I stamped the Oh Christmas Tree cling in black ink and did a little loose Copic coloring, just outlining some of the images and coloring in the rest. I love this fun, happy color combo. I finished the card with the CZ design Peace wafer die.
I hope you enjoyed these ideas! I had fun creating these 3 cards with this great new stamp. There is TONS of inspiration to be had, so please be sure to head over to the main post on the Simon Says Stamp Blog to see all the creations with the new stamps on this blog party. Thanks for stopping by today!
