Here's a little peek at what I created with the kit. And I definitely have supplies to make several more creepy projects :) To create this project, I started by covering the Vignette Coffin with Worn Wallpaper (for the inside) and the Tanzanite cardstock (for the outside and the back of the coffin). I inked the edges of all the pieces with Black Soot Distress Ink before applying them to the coffin with Matte Medium. Now for the fun part! I added some of the Halloween Accents with Matte Medium into the top and the outsides of the coffin. On the top part, I added the mummy cloth which I sprayed with Antique Linen Distress Spray Stain, and then mixed with a bit of moss from my stash. I added the Boneyard Findings bones, and topped them off with some of the Nuvo drops to make them extra spooky. 




I added an Apothecary vial (from my stash) and also attached the Bitty Bats with the Black Stamen to make them look like they are flying out of the coffin. 


For the bottom portion of the coffin, I added an image from the Vellum Haunts where I tore the corners off and inked the edges with my Black Soot DIstress Ink and added a Halloween Quote Chip to finish the project.

Today I am using what is sure to be a new favorite set of mine from the Stamptember release, the Simon Says Stamp/CZ Design Halloween People. I paired this set with the new Fractured background that I embossed in white and inked it up in Crackling Campfire, Wilted Violet and Black Soot Distress Inks and spritzed it with water to give it a spooky vibe. I added a Tim Holtz Idea-ology Halloween Paper Doll and a Bitty Bat and some Soft Black Pearls from Lucy's Cards to finish my card.

You know STAMPtember® is always an exciting month, and the set I wait for all month is finally here...the Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous STAMPtember® exclusive set. Usually these sets are a compliation of other holiday sets in perfect cardmaking size. This year's set is a bit different...these images are exclusive images and once this set is gone..it is gone! I love the idea of having a collector's item! Thanks to Tim and Heidi at Simon Says Stamp for making this happen, what a wonderful surprise!!!!

This year's set features a stamp and stencil and is full of fun creatures and matching sentiments. The stencil is full of fabulous stars, reminiscent of the Hocus Pocus stencil that Tim previously released, one pattern that is a swirl (used on the card below) and one pattern that is like a wave that fits perfectly across the card.



I created 4 cards with this set, and a little explanation of how I made each one:

For my first card, I used the bat creature and mounted it on a background of swirly stars that I created using Crackle Texture Paste and some Distress Crayons. I cut the sentiment from the bottom of the stamp using my Tim Holtz scissors and put it onto a sentiment strip....I usually cut the sentiments off of cling stamps like this and they are super easy to put back on your stamp platform to stamp together as one stamp at a later time, I have never had any problems doing this ;)


For the second card, I used a bright candy colored palette of Distress Inks and Oxides to create an inky background and mounted the bird on top of it, I finished off the card with some candies cut from the Sizzix Sweet Treats die out of Metallic Kraft Stock.


A clean and simple card stamped in Jet Black Archival Ink, colored in with Distress Markers and one Tim Holtz Idea-ology Creepy Eye for effect...clean, simple and creepy all at the same time!



For my final card, I wanted to use the stamps and stencils in a non-Halloween way, and I created a rainbow ink blended panel with Distress Oxides, then stencilled the line of stars over each color. I completed the card with some stars cut from Simon Says Stamp White Glitter Card Stock and stamped and embossed the sentiment on black to make it pop.

STAMPtember® 2018 Tim Holtz Exclusive

Today I am thrilled to be sharing some projects with you with what is always my favorite stamp set of STAMPtember®, the Tim Holtz exclusive! I always love this set each year and this year's is no exception. There are always a great mix of images in this set, and this year...there are some of the fabulous layering stencils included in this set. If you have not tried these you are going to LOVE them! 

This card was created with the trees layering stencil and a simple stamped sentiment on vellum. 

I created an embossed Holly Background on this card and inked the edges to give it a vintage feel. I then stamped the sentiment into a bookmark banner while the embossing powder was still hot and once it was cool, went over it with a Picket Fence Distress crayon. 

For my final card, I used two clean and simple images with a distressed frame. 

There are so may possibilities with this set between the awesome stamped images and the layering stencils that are included. Be sure to pick up yours today as they are only available while supplies last!!!

HI there crafty friends! Today I am thrilled to be sharing Neat & Tangled's STAMPtember® 2018 exclusive set...Holiday Helpers. This set is available in the Simon Says Stamp store now and only while supplies last, so make sure to pick up yours today. The images in this set are SO adorable from the little mice to the cuddly bear to the adorable snowman. I created a little scene on my card and fussy cut all of my little critters, layering them onto an inked panel, popping up the snowman head with some foam tape.

Today I have a few cards for you that I've created with the Right Meow stamps and dies. I am not usually a cat person, but these stamps and dies are totally adorable and super fun to color, and I love the fun font in this set! 

 

For my first card, I made a bunch of cats walking around at night in their finest fall sweaters...it truly does seem like sweater weather! I colored the kitties, lined them up in rainbow order and created a night sky for them to enjoy with some stars with the stars from the BWAHAHA set and a white Glaze pen. 

 

For my second project, I made a set of super quick and easy kitty notecards, each with their own personality. I cut a few of the Stitched Rectangle panels out, stamped a sentiment on them and added a cute kitty to each one. Super simple and fun.

STAMPtember®: Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous EXCLUSIVE!

SO excited to share some projects I made with the newest STAMPtember® collaboration from Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous! I always love the Tim STAMPtember® set and this one is no exception. It's got the perfect amount of card size images from his latest holiday release and a stencil that comes with it. Such a great value and I think this would be a perfect gift for any of the Tim fans on your holiday shopping list too! 

Here's a close up of the stamps and stencil: 

And a couple of the cards that I made with it. The first one is super simple: a stamped an embossed snowman on a panel inked with Distress Oxides. I went over it with the stencil using the same Oxide colors, then offset the stencil a bit for some embossing with holographic embossing powder. 

The second card I made has a totally different style. I embossed the Sparkles stamp in gold in a repeating pattern then added an inky background with Distress Inks, and painted in some of the sparkles with Distress Oxides. I added a ton of snowflakes in different textures and adhered my sentiment to the top: 

STAMPtember® is here!: simon exclusives

STAMPtember® is here! I am happy to be creating today with one of the newest sets from Simon's exclusive release, You Got This. There are so many great uplifting sentiments in this set, I am sure I will be reaching for it over and over! 

To create my card, I heat embossed the Abstract Triangles stamp, then inked up the panel with Distress Oxides and Distress Inks in my favorite rain shower hues. 

I created this card to open in the center, so when the recipient opens it, they will see the big beautiful rainbow inside! I inked the inside with my favorite colors of Distress Inks and stamped over the panel with the Circle Doodle Background in the same colors. I added a simple HAVE FAITH inside. Hi there! Today is my FAVORITE day of STAMPtember®, since it includes the release of a super special edition exclusive stamp and stencil set from Tim Holtz. The collaboration stamp set is a special collection of some favorite NEW and previously released Tim Holtz designs.  They have all been resized to fit beautifully on cards and are also great sizes for making gift tags.
